It's Final Examination Week, Talaturung Aslags! We know the pressure is on, reviewers everywhere, last-minute cramming, and sleepless nights trying to survive the final stretch of the semester. Kaya bago tayo bumiyahe patungong next sem, may isang huling handog ang your IESC cutie para sa inyo!

Alongside your freshly brewed coffee to keep you awake and focused, you can also enjoy a warm serving of hot pandesal, simple comfort food for a week that feels anything but simple.

Because finals may be challenging, a little caffeine, a warm snack, and the support of IE student council can go a long way. Take a quick break, recharge, and remind yourself that you've made it this far for a reason.

Konting kapit na lang, mga Talaturung Aslag! Matapos ang mga quizzes, reports, activities, deadlines, at mga gabing puno ng review, cramming, at "last scroll na talaga 'to," narito na tayo sa last stage. Diz iz it, panzittt!

May you ace this Final Examination Week. Magtiwala sa sarili at manalig sa lahat ng pinag-aralan at pinaghirapan. Naging bumpy, baliko, at minsan nakakahilo man ang biyahe, yet you're still here. And that alone is something to be proud of.

Kaya tap yourself on the shoulder at sabihin mo, "𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗮𝗸𝗼 𝘀𝗮'𝘆𝗼, 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳." Hindi man perpekto ang naging journey, pero kinaya mo at patuloy mong kinakaya.

𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘

Today, June 15, we commemorate the anniversary of the 1991 eruption of Mt. Pinatubo, one of the most powerful volcanic events in modern history and the second-largest terrestrial eruption of the 20th century. The eruption dramatically altered landscapes, displaced thousands of families, and left a lasting mark on communities across Central Luzon.

Beyond the devastation, the eruption revealed the extraordinary strength and unity of the Filipino people. Communities came together to support one another, rebuild homes, and restore livelihoods despite the immense challenges brought by this eruption. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘀𝘆𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲.

As we remember this historic event, we honor the lives affected and the lessons it continues to teach us about perseverance and resilience. From the ashes of destruction emerged stories of survival and renewal, a proof that 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲.

𝙋𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙮 𝘼𝙠𝙤, 𝙋𝙞𝙣𝙤𝙮 𝙏𝙖𝙮𝙤 🇵🇭

As part of our celebration of Philippine Independence Day today, the second-year Education students, together with the Institute of Education faculty members, proudly present a sign language interpretation of the song "𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆 𝗔𝗸𝗼" by Orange and Lemons.

Guided and mentored by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗼, this presentation showcases the students' learning and appreciation of Sign Language through their course on Foundations of Special and Inclusive Education (FSIE).

More than a performance, this presentation serves as a meaningful reminder that true freedom is experienced 𝗲𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙙, 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙫𝙖𝙡𝙪𝙚𝙙, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙨 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙜. Through sign language, we celebrate not only our Filipino pride but also our commitment to build a more inclusive society where communication, understanding, and respect transcend barriers.

As we commemorate our nation's independence, may we continue to uphold the values of unity, diversity, and inclusion because in embracing one another, we truly embody the spirit of being a True Filipino.
