To produce educators who are globally-competitive imbued with integrity and ethical standards towards holistic development of the learners in the 21st century society. Objectives of the BSED Program

1. Develop high school teachers who can teach in one of the different learning areas in high school.
2. Produce teachers who possess creative and critical thinking skills and demonstrate professional competencies, pedagogical and content knowledge in teaching secondary students.
3. Equip the future teachers with the modern trends and recent issues in teacher education through seminars, workshops, research and extension leading them to become 21st century educators.
4. Hone future teachers who have appropriate intellectual and moral values and who are responsive to the needs of his fellows and of the fast-changing society.

On to Level IV!

The CTE academic family came together for the Accreditation Orientation and Planning Workshop as part of preparations for the Level IV AACCUP Accreditation of the BSED program.

The workshop was spearheaded by Program Chairs Dr. Luz N. Corpuz and Dr. Ferdinand V. Tamoria, with the guidance of Campus Director Prof. Ferdinand M. Domingo. The orientation was facilitated by Prof. Karen P. Andres, CTE-AACCUP Accreditor.

With the goal of being at par with national and global standards, and in alignment with SDG 4: Quality Education, faculty members assigned to each area: Instruction, Research, Extension, International Linkages, and Planning, took the first steps in addressing their initial compliance and requirements.

AGAPAY sa pagkilos: seminar sa pagpigil ng krimen, idinaos!

Sa pangunguna ng Team AGAPAY, ang seminar patungkol sa pagpigil ng krimen ay idinaos sa Brgy. San Rafael, San Marcelino, Zambales, kahapon, Agosto 22, 2025.

Sinimulan ang programa sa isang panalangin at pambansang awit na pinangunahan ni Bb. Jemima Kezia R. Cusipag, na sinundan naman ng pambungad na pananalita ni Propesor Kareen Joy B. Manglicmot. Si G. Kevin J. Pascual ang nagsilbing tagapagdaloy sa buong programa.

Inilahad naman ni G. Marlon N. Fulgencio ang pangkalahatang programa, at nagbigay naman ng mensahe si si Gng. Feliza Arizo, opisyal na namamahala (OIC) na kung saan siya ay nagbigay pasalamat sa nasabing aktibidad.

Samantala, pormal na ipinakilala ni Propesor Ferdinand V. Tamoria ang tagapagsalita na si G. Edwin C. Relaniza sa nasabing seminar. Itinalakay naman ni G. Relaniza ang mga uri ng krimen, at ilang mahahalagang pamamaraan upang maging ligtas at maiwasan ang krimen.

Umabot din sa mahigit dalawampu ang nakilahok sa seminar at tunay na naging matagumpay ang kaganapan.

PRMSU SM CTE kicks off free BLEPT review program with orientation

The College of Teacher Education (CTE) at PRMSU San Marcelino Campus successfully conducted a free orientation for its Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) review on August 8, 2025. This initiative is designed to prepare students for the upcoming licensure exam on September 21, 2025.

Jemima Kezia R. Cusipag, Instructor, led the orientation and discussed the schedule, subjects to be covered, and the roster of instructors and professors who will be facilitating the program. A total of 35 reviewees attended the event, with registration still ongoing.

This program underscores CTE's dedication to student success, producing high passing rates, and producing quality educators.
