With pride and gratitude, the Science and Mathematics Department congratulates our student interns, Ariane S. Panganoron and Kent Joy O. Lamoste, for successfully completing their teaching internship at CIE British School Tacloban on May 8, 2026.

Their culmination program marked the end of a meaningful journey filled with growth, dedication, and valuable teaching experiences in an internationalized learning environment under the guidance of Dr. Leslie Elisa S. Cobilla, their teaching internship supervisor.

As two of the six student interns proudly representing Southern Leyte State University – Tomas Oppus in the internationalization internship program, they have shown commitment, professionalism, and passion in the field of education.

May this achievement inspire them to continue striving for excellence as future educators and leaders in Science and Mathematics.

This activity was conducted in partnership with 𝐌𝐋𝐆 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐈𝐧𝐜., our collaborator in the ARAL initiative, further reinforcing the value of inter‑institutional cooperation in promoting a vibrant research culture.

Representing the Science and Mathematics Society, Jay Ann De Guzman (𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭), Charlotte Kate Galupo (𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲), and Jay Nino L. Necosia (𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞) attended the conference together with the 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲, joining the wider academic community in witnessing the formal launching of the 𝐒𝐀𝐊𝐋𝐀𝐖 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭.

The program featured insightful research presentations, rigorous scholarly discussions, and meaningful exchanges that emphasized the institutions’ dedication to nurturing knowledge, empowering future researchers, and fostering innovation.
