Tangub City Global College formally concluded the week with a solemn Flag Retreat Ceremony, honoring the Philippine flag and the TCGC banner as enduring symbols of national pride, unity, and institutional identity.

The ceremony reflected the college’s unwavering commitment to fostering discipline, respect, and patriotism within the academic community. Faculty members, staff, and students gathered in unity to witness the meaningful activity, which was led by the CIJE Institute Student Council officers.

As the flags were respectfully lowered, the event served as a powerful reminder of the shared responsibility of every member of the TCGC community to uphold the values of love for country, solidarity, and service. The Flag Retreat Ceremony not only marked the close of the week’s activities but also reinforced the importance of honoring national symbols and strengthening collective pride and identity within the institution.

Please be informed that the practice for the Charter Anniversary Light Show will be held tomorrow, February 25, at the TCGC Grounds from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM, and will resume from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM for final blocking. Attendance will start 30 minutes before the practice, and all participants are kindly requested to arrive on time.

For everyone’s safety during the practice, participants are reminded to strictly follow the instructions of the facilitators, PATHFIT instructors, and security personnel at all times.

Participants are also reminded to wear a jacket, especially during the afternoon practice, and bring enough drinking water and food for the dinner break, as the practice will extend into the evening. For final blocking, all participants are advised to secure and keep their emergency contact numbers for safety and emergency purposes.

Please understand that the presentation date is fast approaching, and your discipline, patience, and cooperation are very important to the success of this activity.

The Office of Student Life and Development is now accepting applications for the TCGC Leadership Award, Extra-Curricular Award, and Lux Mundis Award of Excellence.

This application is open to all graduating students for the First and Second Semester, Academic Year 2025–2026. These awards aim to recognize students who have demonstrated exemplary leadership, active involvement in school activities, and a strong commitment to service and excellence.

Application forms are available at the Office of Student Life and Development. All duly accomplished forms, together with the complete requirements, forms will be accepted until March 13, 2026, 8:00 AM TO 5:00 PM.

In consideration of the current weather conditions and in the interest of student safety, the scheduled Light Show practices for today and tomorrow are hereby suspended. Practices will resume on Monday, subject to favorable weather conditions.

We extend our sincere apology for any inconvenience caused and for the circumstances that transpired during the last practice, including the manner in which instructions, actions, and words were communicated. The organizing team takes full responsibility and acknowledges the need for improved coordination and sensitivity in managing student activities.

Moving forward, we assure everyone that student safety, welfare, and proper time management will be given utmost priority. Appropriate measures will be implemented to ensure that all future practices are conducted in a safe, orderly, and respectful environment.
