𝗭𝗣𝗣𝗦𝗨 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 🙏

A moment of 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲, 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 unfolded during the 𝗭𝗣𝗣𝗦𝗨 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 held on May 15, 2026, at the university gymnasium. The gathering served as a meaningful preparation for the graduating students as they embark on the next chapter of their academic and personal journeys.

The interfaith service featured inspiring messages from faith leaders 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗜𝗿𝗮 𝗟𝗲𝗲 𝗣. 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮, 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗝𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗥. 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗹, and 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗸𝗵 𝗡𝗶𝗱𝘇𝗳𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗶. In their reflections, they emphasized that true education extends beyond academic excellence.

They reminded the graduates that genuine success is rooted in having a 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀 rather than being measured solely by awards, achievements, or wealth.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt message encouraging the graduates to use the 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 they acquired throughout their academic journey not only for personal growth and success, but also in service to others, the community, and most importantly, to God.

With the theme, “Beyond Boundaries: Unleashing Technology and Engineering Potentials for Global Impact,” the event celebrated the excellence, perseverance, and outstanding achievements of CET students in academics, leadership, and service.

CET RECOGNITION DAY 2026

Zamboanga Peninsula Polytechnic State University (ZPPSU), College of Engineering and Technology (CET), held its Recognition Day 2026 on May 11, 2026, at the Angara Building with the theme:

𝘽𝙚𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙙 𝘽𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨: 𝙐𝙣𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙂𝙡𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙡 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩

The program began with a doxology and opening prayer, formally called to order by the Master of Ceremonies, Ms. Lea Mammah, followed by the opening remarks from Engr. Jennifer C. Gargar, Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology.

𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘳 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘳.

He emphasized:

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘴, 𝘺𝘦𝘴, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦, 𝘪𝘵 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯. 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢 𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦.

He then added:

This was followed by an aspirational message from the Vice President for Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), Dr. Cyrus Pil Cadavedo.

𝘉𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘦𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦, 𝘪𝘵 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘣𝘺 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘴.

He also reminded the students:

𝘈𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘣𝘦 𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧.

After his speech, the awarding of certificates for both academic and non academic awardees took place. The hard work, dedication, and commitment of students striving for excellence were recognized. The Program Chairs and faculty members of each program joined their respective awardees on stage, sharing in the moment of pride and accomplishment.

The ceremony also recognized students who excelled in both academic and non academic fields.
