Alianza de Líderes por A Buen Comunidad (ALAB COM) stands today as a testament to purpose-driven leadership. It was once known as the 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝑩𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚, a name that first carried the vision of building a home for leaders beyond titles and limitations.

From its beginnings, the organization was founded on a simple yet powerful truth: 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒅𝒆𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔, 𝒏𝒐𝒓 𝒍𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔. It became a space, a safety net for individuals who were ready to lead, even when they were not given the chance. Because sometimes, not being chosen does not mean one has nothing to offer. It simply means purpose is meant to grow elsewhere.

The community honors the individuals who turned that vision into reality, its founders:

From that beginning, ALAB COM has grown into more than just an organization. It has become a home for aspiring leaders, a platform for growth, and a reminder that setbacks can become starting points. Through initiatives, collaborations, and shared experiences, the community continues to empower individuals to step up, serve, and create meaningful impact.

Alianza de Líderes was once just a dream, a home where leaders, regardless of status or affiliation, could belong, grow, and lead with heart. A place for those who carry the spark, the courage to serve and the willingness to become better, not just for themselves, but for others.

This achievement is a reflection of your perseverance, discipline, and the countless hours of hard work you have invested. Behind this success are the sleepless nights, moments of doubt you chose to overcome, and the determination that kept you moving forward despite every challenge. You have proven that with focus and resilience, even the most demanding goals can be achieved.

Your journey was not easy, but you stayed committed. You trusted the process, pushed through the pressure, and gave your best until the very end, and today, it has all paid off.

As former members of ALAB Com, you carry with you a shared identity of service and community involvement. Now, as licensed criminologists, you take a step further into a profession that calls for integrity, responsibility, and dedication to the public.

"𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐊𝐀𝐃𝐎 𝐒𝐀 𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐏, 𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐊𝐀𝐃𝐎 𝐒𝐀 𝐏𝐔𝐒𝐎"

Naghatid ng ngiti at saya sa mga mag-aaral at g**o sa isinagawang outreach program ng ALAB Community katuwang ang Integrated Junior Alert (iJ-ALERT) at National Service Training Program – Civic Welfare Training Service Abatars (NSTP-CWTS Abatars) ng College of Engineering – WMSU sa Muruk Elementary School, Barangay Pasonanca nitong Pebrero 15, 2026.

Ang Muruk Elementary School ay isang paaralan kung saan matatagpuan ito sa liblib na lugar ng Zamboanga at malayo ito sa sentro ng lungsod.

Ang nasabing outreach program ay pinangalanang Project SMILE (Serving Minds, Investing in Learners’ Education), layunin nito na makatulong sa mga kabataang nag-aaral sa mga malalayong komunidad kung saan nakararanas ito ng kakulangan sa pang-edukasyong pangangailangan.

Isa sa hangarin nito ay makapagbigay ng school materials sa mga mag-aaral nang sa gayon umaasa na makatutulong ito na maipagpapatuloy nila ang kanilang pag-aaral.

Ang pamamahagi ay pinangunahan nina Alester Galieto Jude Capacio, ang presidente ng ALAB-COM, Eamon Ungad, presidente ng iJ-ALERT, at ni Jimena Blanca Jore, chairperson ng NSTP-CWTS Abatars.

Taos-pusong nagpapasalamat si Sir Joseph Emar Valenzona, ang school head ng paaralan sa pamamahagi ng kagamitan sa kanyang mga estudyante, saad nito, mas mapapadali na ang kanilang pagkatuto sa kanilang silid-aralan at mapapalago pa ang kanilang kaalaman dahil sa mga school material na ito.

Hindi magiging posible ang pamamahagi kung wala ang tulong mula sa Local Government Unit ng Zamboanga sa tranportasyon, dagdag donasyon mula sa Junior Social Workers’ Association of the Philippines – Zamboanga Chapter sa pangunguna ni Julia Ysobel Diacor, at sa iba pang indibidwal na nagkaroon ng kontribusyon nang matupad ang proyektong ito.

Naging makabuluhan ang nasabing proyekto dahil pinapakita nito kung gaano kahalaga ang edukasyon sa mga mag-aaral ng Muruk, nagsisilbing inspirasyon na patuloy pa ring magsumikap sa pag-aaral sa kabila ng hirap at pagsubok sa buhay, dahil ang edukasyon ay pag-asa sa pag-unlad ng puso’t kaisipan at sandata upang malabanan kung anuman ang humadlang sa magandang kinabukasan.

Magpapatuloy pa rin sa pagtulong, paglingkod, at pag-ALAB – tungo sa pag-unlad at sa ikabubuti ng komunidad.

SUPPORT • CONNECT • NURTURE | Introducing Project SMILE

With the theme:
“Equipping Young Minds, One SMILE at a Time”

On February 14, 2026, the ALAB Community, in partnership with iJ-Alert, JSWAP, and NSTP-CWTS Abatars, will be conducting PROJECT SMILE (Serving Minds, Investing in Learners’ Education)—an outreach program dedicated to supporting the initiative of helping young learners in the community who have little to no resources and are struggling to meet their daily educational needs.

This project aims to provide essential learning materials, including notebooks, pens, paper, and other school supplies, to help young learners continue their education with confidence and hope.

In line with this initiative, we are calling for monetary and in-kind donations to support the provision of essential school supplies, helping ensure that young learners are guided, supported, and equipped with the materials they need as they pursue their passion for learning.

All donations—whether monetary or in-kind—will be used solely for the implementation of this project. No amount is too small; every contribution brings us one step closer to helping young learners achieve their dreams. Let us join hands in this meaningful cause and become a source of hope, inspiration, and motivation for young learners whose dreams begin with access to basic school supplies.

✨ ALAB Community x Integrated Junior ALERT (iJ-Alert) | Campus C Dormitory Materials Turnover 2025 ✨

Matagumpay na naisakatuparan ang isinagawang Turnover Ceremony of Dormitory Materials ng ALAB Community katuwang ang Integrated Junior ALERT (iJ-ALERT) para sa mga mag-aaral ng Campus C (San Ramon) nitong Nobyembre 30, 2025.

Pinangunahan nina Alester Galieto Jude Capacio, ang presidente ng ALAB-COM at ni Ian Gabriel Paculanang, ang bise presidente at kumatawan sa iJ-ALERT sa programa sa naturang araw na iyon.

Malugod at mainit na tinanggap ng College of Forestry and Environmental Studies Outgoing Mayor Brayle Tambac ang mga kagamitan. Aniya ay lubos itong makatutulong at mapakikinabangan ng mga mag-aaral sa kalinisan ng bawat silid sa kanilang dormitoryo.

Dagdag pa nito, ang nasabing kagamitan ay ang susi upang makaiwas sa mga sakit at kapahamakan at mapanatili ang kanilang kaligtasan sa loob at labas ng gusali. Dahil dito, lubos silang nagpapasalamat sa mga ito.

Bago pa man naganap ang programa ay naglunsad ng tatlong-linggong Income Generated Projects (IGP) ang mga organisasyon na ito upang makakalap ng sapat na pinansiyal pambili ng mga kagamitang kinakailangan. Bunga nito ay nakalikom ng ₱4,970 matapos ang tatlong-linggong IGP.

Ang proyektong isinagawa ay hindi lamang patungkol sa pamamahagi ng kagamitan, bagkus ito ay bunga ng pagsusumikap at pagtutulungan ng bawat isa at pagkakaisa tungo sa kabutihan.

Magpapatuloy pa rin sa pagtulong, paglingkod at pag-ALAB patungo sa kaunlaran at sa ikabubuti ng pamayanan. ✨

"Unity in Action Towards a Cleaner Community" 🌿🍃✨
What may seem like a small act of kindness can spark a wave of lasting impact. Our 2-day Clean-Up Caravan has officially concluded with a meaningful culminating program at Tugbungan Barangay Hall, Zamboanga City! 💪🏽🧹

6th Air Reserve Center (6th ARCen),Women's Organization for Rights, Truth, and Hope (WORTH), Campus Light Friendship Club (CLFC), Junior Active League for Emergency Reaction Transceivers (IJ’ALERT), and Union of Nation-Builders and Innovators for Democracy (UNIDO).
