The ROTC Unit of Universidad de Zamboanga actively participated in the Third Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026, promoting disaster preparedness, awareness, and safety among the university community.

The 627th ROTC Unit proudly marks the beginning of another journey toward discipline, leadership, responsibility, and service through our First ROTC Formation for Batch 2026โ€“2027.

The formation was headed by TSgt Ferdinan R Gempesaw PN(M) and ASN Jomel L Quibete PN, whose guidance and leadership helped set the standard for our cadets as we begin this new training year. This first formation serves as an important foundation for developing not only physical discipline, but also the character, confidence, teamwork, and sense of responsibility expected from every cadet.
