𝗠𝗦𝗨 𝗦𝗦𝗖-𝗭𝗦 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗢𝗚𝗣 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The Office of the Chancellor issued Special Order No. 285, Series of 2026, granting authority to SSC President Hon. Rhesa S. Centino to participate in the GenOGP Mindanao Regional Consultation organized by GoodGovPH in coordination with Mindanao State University - Main Campus.

The consultation, held on April 25, 2026 at MSU Main Campus in Marawi City, gathered youth leaders, academic institutions, and partner organizations to advance youth engagement in governance and contribute to the Philippine Open Government Partnership Youth Action Plan.

This participation strengthens the representation of MSU Zamboanga Sibugay in regional policy discussions and affirms its commitment to active youth leadership, collaboration, and nation building.

𝗠𝗦𝗨 𝗦𝗦𝗖-𝗭𝗦 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗟𝗬𝗗𝗖 𝗕𝘂𝘂𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Municipality Youth Development Office scheduled the 2nd Quarter Meeting of the Local Youth Development Council of Buug on April 24, 2026 at 1:00 PM. The Mindanao State University Supreme Student Council - Zamboanga Sibugay actively participated in the activity as part of its commitment to youth engagement and development, alongside youth leaders, SK members, and partner organizations.

Key agenda items included post activity report on the True Love Waits Seminar 2026, updates on the implementation of the Annual Youth Development Action Plan (AYDAP) for CY 2026, presentation of LYDC Internal Rules of Procedure (IRP), and the upcoming Mental Health Matters School Base Symposium 2026. Updates for Sangguniang Kabataan Federation and other relevant matters were also discussed.

The convention strengthen coordination among youth stakeholders and reinforce unified efforts and initiatives towards responsive and sustainable youth development in the Municipality of Buug.

𝗢𝗦𝗔𝗦 𝗜𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗦𝗦𝗖 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀

The Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) has officially released Memorandum No. 04, Series of 2026, outlining the positions and general guidelines for the upcoming Supreme Student Council (SSC) Elections at Mindanao State University–Zamboanga Sibugay. In line with the University’s commitment to democratic participation and student leadership, key positions including President, Vice President, General Secretary, Treasurer, and nine Senators are now open for election, inviting qualified students to take part in shaping the campus leadership.

The memorandum also details the qualifications for candidates, documentary requirements for filing of candidacy, and election guidelines to ensure a fair and orderly process. All students are encourage to participate actively in the electoral process and uphold the values of integrity, respect, and accountability throughout the election period.

2026-2027 SUPREME STUDENT COUNCIL ELECTION

Rise to Lead, Let your voice be heard!

In coordination with the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), the Supreme Student Council officially announces the conduct of Online Election for Academic Year 2026-2027. This serves as an opportunity for students to take part in meaningful democratic process by stepping forward as candidates.

ELECTION TIMELINE AND IMPORTANT DATES

Filing of Candidacy – April 6-10, 2026
Students who aspire to lead and serve the student body may file their candidacy within this period. Ensure all requirements are completed for qualification.

Orientation of Candidates – April 10, 2026
All official candidates are required to attend the orientation, where election guidelines, rules, and responsibilities will be discussed.

Campaign Period – April 13-16, 2026
Candidates will present their platforms, engage with fellow students, and advocate for their vision of leadership.

Miting de Avance – April 17, 2026
A platform for candidates to deliver their final messages, share their goals, and connect with the student body before Election Day.

Election Day – April 20, 2026
All bona fide students are encouraged to cast their votes online. Make your voice count and help choose the leaders who will represent you.
