A documentary showcasing program was organized at our college on 19-05-2026 under the initiative of the Government of Punjab by the District Population Welfare Officer to create awareness among students about population welfare and family planning. The seminar was held in the college smart room and attended by students, teachers, and officials from the Population Welfare Department. During the program, an informative documentary was presented highlighting the causes and effects of rapid population growth, including poverty, unemployment, shortage of resources, and pressure on healthcare and education systems. The documentary also emphasized the importance of family planning, women’s education, healthcare services, and responsible parenting for a better future. The District Population Welfare Officer addressed the students and encouraged them to spread awareness in society about population control and healthy family practices. Students actively participated in the discussion and appreciated the informative session. Overall, the program was successful in educating students about population-related challenges and the efforts being made under the Punjab government initiative for public awareness and social development.
