Dear Students and Satff of UoC,

As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, UoC would like to announce the adjusted timing during this period. Starting from the first day of Ramadan, our timing hours will be from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, we will be open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

We kindly request our students and Staff to take note of this timing and plan their visits and inquiries accordingly. We also encourage everyone to respect and honor the traditions and customs of Ramadan, and we hope that this month brings peace, blessings, and prosperity to all.

یونیورسٹی آف چکوال کے سیمینار ہال میں اکیڈمک کونسل کی دوسری میٹنگ بروز بدھ 15 مارچ 2023 ء کو منعقد ہوئی۔جس میں پروفیسرڈاکٹر محمد بلال خان وائس چانسلر یونیورسٹی آف چکوال، ڈاکٹر اشتیاق احمدرجسٹرار یونیورسٹی آف چکوال، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ناصر محمود، وائس چانسلرعلامہ اقبال اوپن یونیورسٹی اسلام آباد، پروفیسرڈاکٹرعذرا یاسمین قائم مقام وائس چانسلر فاطمہ جناح وومن یونیورسٹی راولپنڈی، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد شہباز عارف سابق ڈین فیکلٹی آف آرٹس اینڈ سوشل سائنسز اور سابق وائس چانسلر گورنمنٹ کالج یونیورسٹی فیصل آباد، پروفیسرڈاکٹر گلستان راجہ یونیورسٹی آف انجینئرنگ اینڈ ٹیکنالوجی ٹیکسلا،ڈاکٹر رحمت الہٰی ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر بین الاقوامی اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی اسلام آباد، انصرام الہٰی ، ڈائریکٹر(پلاننگ اینڈ بجٹ) DPI کالجز ، لاہور، محمد نعیم ڈپٹی سیکرٹری ہائر ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ لاہور اور یونیورسٹی آف چکوال کے تمام شعبہ جات کے صدور نے شرکت کی۔حالیہ میٹنگ میں یونیورسٹی آف چکوال میں فیکلٹی کی تعداد چھ سے بڑھا کر آٹھ کر دی گئی ہے، نیز اضافے کے بعد شعبہ جات کی مجموعی تعداد بیس کی بجائے اکتالیس کر دی گئی ہے۔ نئے شعبہ جات میں انٹمالوجی، ایگرانومی، ہارٹیکلچر، پلانٹ پیتھالوجی ، انوائرمنٹل سائنسز، آرکیالوجی اور فائن آرٹس وغیرہ شامل ہیں۔ اکیڈمک کونسل نے شعبہ اکنامکس، میتھ، زوالوجی،اُردواور اسلامیات میں ایم فل پروگرام کے اجراء کی منظوری بھی دی۔ ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کی تازہ ترین ہدایات کے مطابق جملہ پروگرامز کے نصابات کی تشکیلِ نو بھی کی گئی۔ مزید برآں میٹنگ میں یہ طے پایا کہ مختلف شعبہ جات میں پڑھائے جانے والے انگریزی کے نصاب پر نظر ثانی عصری تقاضوں کو مدِ نظر رکھتے ہوئے کی جائے گی۔ میٹنگ میں سمسٹر ریگولیشن، انڈومنٹ فنڈ، پے منٹ اینڈ ری فنڈ آف فیس اینڈ فنڈز ریگولیشن اینڈ میرٹ بیسڈ سکالرشپ ریگولیشن کی منظوری بھی دی گئی۔

"Pakistan Day"
On March 23rd, 1940, the Lahore Resolution was passed, which called for the establishment of a separate Muslim state in the Indian subcontinent. In honor of this occasion, the University of Chakwal will remain closed on this day. We encourage our students and faculty members to take this opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices of our forefathers and the struggles they went through to secure our independence. We urge everyone to celebrate this day with enthusiasm and patriotism.

Let us come together as a community and pay tribute to our great nation on this Pakistan Day.

Congratulations to Department of Mathematics, University of Chakwal Department of Mathematics, University of Chakwal participated in National Mathenasium-2023 which is held in Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Sciences, Government College University Lahore on 14-March-2023. Different universities participated in this competition . Alhamdulillah, University of Chakwal team got Second Position in this competition.
