Inauguration of new RIETER Blowroom and Card in Yarn Manufacturing Lab. of NTU
A ceremony was held at NTU on February 17, 2021 to inaugurate the newly erected RIETER Blowroom and Card in Yarn Manufacturing Lab. Mr. Naveed Gulzar CEO Crescent Cotton Mills Limited, was the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony. The worthy Rector, faculty members and senior alumni from spinning industry attended the ceremony. This machinery is installed at NTU with the support of SIMAG Enterprises pvt. Ltd. The spinning setup in Yarn Manufacturing Lab. has become fully independent now to process not only the natural fibres but also synthetic and advance fibres to produce conventional as well as technical yarns. This will be helpful to strengthen the future research on technical textiles at NTU.
