Kohlu basically comprises of two tribes, the Marri tribe is the main ethnic group in the city followed by the Zarghoons. Dr. Zafar Qadir - the then Political Agent and head of the district government in Kohlu (Balochistan) during 1989-90 conceived the idea of launching an English medium, co-education, modern educational institution in the foothold of the Marri tribe to combat poverty and crime through educational endeavors and to encourage community development through consultative process. In the foothold of the mountains in Kohlu, the school is till date functional. It has provided tremendous opportunities to students and gave them the skills and abilities in order to make them competitive at national level. The oldest school of the foundation has also proved to be the best school academically for the past couple of years. It has a strength of over 500 students and is operated under the leadership of it’s Principal who has been serving the people of Balochistan for over two decades now – Ms. The school has a 30 + staff who make sure to provide the best educational facilities to the students in this remote area of Kohlu. In 1989, it only had 30 students – the journey of success has been fruitful for this school. The school comprises of 28 classrooms, library, computer room, science room and a number of on-campus staff residences. Established in 1989
