An Orientation Session for First-Year Students was organized at Government Graduate College for Women, Gujar Khan today. The newly admitted students were warmly welcomed and given useful guidance about the college, its academic environment, rules, facilities, and student activities.
The session was graced by Principal, Ms. Shamsa Noreen, and Vice Principal, Ms. Sobia Sultana, who welcomed the students and encouraged them to begin their college journey with confidence, dedication, and enthusiasm.

Today, Government Graduate College (W), Gujar Khan had the honour of welcoming the Deputy Director Colleges, Rawalpindi and the Affiliation Team of the University of the Punjab, Lahore.

During the visit, fruitful discussions were held regarding various college matters, ADP/BS programmes, academic affairs, and institutional development. The visiting team also conducted a detailed visit to the college laboratories and academic facilities.

We sincerely appreciate the valuable time, guidance, and insightful observations shared by the Affiliation Team and the worthy Deputy Director during their visit.

We look forward to continued collaboration and support for the further improvement and academic development of our institution.

Independence Day was celebrated at Government Graduate College for Women, Gujar Khan, Rawalpindi with great enthusiasm. The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and Naat e Rasool Maqbool. The college administration organized speech and national song competitions for the students. The aim of these competitions was to promote patriotism among the students and highlight the importance of Independence Day. An symbolic cake was also cut in the ceremony. The national flag was hoisted in a grand manner in the college courtyard.

At the end of the ceremony, worthy principal Madam Shamsa Noreen addressed the students in which she guided the students about the importance of Independence Day and the demands of the present era. Finally, the national anthem was presented. Thus, the ceremony came to an end.

پنجاب کالج گوجر خان میں ڈاکٹر سید انصر اظہر کی شعری تصنیف "اداس آنکھوں سے مسکرانا" کی پروقار تقریبِ پذیرائی

31 جولائی 2026 کو پنجاب کالج گوجر خان کے زیرِ اہتمام ڈائریکٹر پبلک انسٹرکشن (کالجز) پنجاب، ڈاکٹر سید انصر اظہر کی نئی شعری تصنیف "اداس آنکھوں سے مسکرانا" کی شاندار تقریبِ پذیرائی منعقد ہوئی۔ اس باوقار ادبی تقریب میں علمی، ادبی اور تعلیمی حلقوں سے تعلق رکھنے والی ممتاز شخصیات نے شرکت کی اور ڈاکٹر سید انصر اظہر کی ادبی خدمات کو بھرپور خراجِ تحسین پیش کیا۔

تقریب کے دوران گورنمنٹ گریجویٹ کالج برائے خواتین، گوجر خان کی پرنسپل پروفیسر شمسہ نورین کی غیر معمولی علمی و تحقیقی خدمات کو بھی خصوصی طور پر سراہا گیا۔ ان کی تصنیف "عہدِ نبوی ﷺ میں خواتین کی رفاہی سرگرمیاں اور عہدِ حاضر میں ان سے استفادہ" کو قومی سیرت النبی ﷺ کانفرنس 2024 کے آل پاکستان مقابلۂ کتب میں وزارتِ مذہبی امور و بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی، حکومتِ پاکستان کی جانب سے اوّل انعام (صدارتی ایوارڈ) سے نوازا گیا تھا۔

اسی نمایاں قومی اعزاز کے اعتراف میں پنجاب کالج گوجر خان کی جانب سے پروفیسر شمسہ نورین کو اعزازی شیلڈ پیش کی گئی، جو ڈاکٹر سید انصر اظہر، ڈی پی آئی کالجز پنجاب نے اپنے دستِ مبارک سے عطا کی۔

اس موقع پر ڈاکٹر سید انصر اظہر نے پروفیسر شمسہ نورین کی تحقیقی، تصنیفی اور علمی خدمات کو زبردست خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ان کی یہ کامیابی نہ صرف گورنمنٹ گریجویٹ کالج برائے خواتین گوجر خان بلکہ پورے ہائر ایجوکیشن ڈیپارٹمنٹ پنجاب کے لیے باعثِ فخر، اعزاز اور علمی وقار کی علامت ہے۔ انہوں نے اس کامیابی کو پنجاب کے اساتذہ اور محققین کے لیے ایک قابلِ تقلید مثال قرار دیا۔
