🤝In conjunction with the camp, an informative awareness session on Thalassemia was also arranged. Brig. (R) Dr. Kamran delivered an insightful talk, educating students on the causes of Thalassemia and its prevention.

The response to both the seminar and the blood donation camp was truly overwhelming. Our passionate students, dedicated faculty members, and supportive staff participated in full spirit. The response was truly overwhelming—our passionate students, dedicated faculty members, and supportive staff came together in full spirit, turning this drive into a remarkable success. Each drop of blood donated carries the power to save precious lives, especially for those battling Thalassaemia.

Great things happen when institutions work together for a common cause! 🎓🤝

To pave the way for 100% literacy in Union Council Sihala, Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST) has joined forces with the National Commission for Human Development (NCHD). Our dedicated CUST volunteers have divided the Union Council into 27 zones—covering all 27 villages—and are going door-to-door to identify out-of-school children aged 5-16.

Thanks to this meticulous village-by-village approach, we have already identified 150 children who will now be guided toward educational opportunities with the support of NCHD.

A huge congratulations to the incredible CUST volunteers and the NCHD team for making this happen! Together, we are taking a solid step toward a 100% literate UC Sihala. ✅📚

A powerful start to a meaningful journey.

Over 176 students from Capital University of Science & Technology stepped forward to begin their community service experience with JJT. As part of their 65 credit hour requirement, they attended an engaging orientation session led by Shahzad Saleem Abbasi

The session focused on purpose, responsibility, and the real impact of volunteering in the field. It was inspiring to see such passionate and driven youth ready to serve vulnerable communities with energy and teamwork.

We look forward to seeing the difference they will make. Best wishes to the CUST team.

🚀 A New Partnership for Hope! 🚀

On January 23, 2026, a delegation from the VIS Directorate visited the Pakistan Thalassaemia Welfare Society (PATHWEL). The purpose was to strengthen ties, witness their incredible work firsthand, and explore new avenues of partnership in the fight against Thalassaemia.

The visit culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the VIS Directorate and PATHWEL.🤝 This agreement marks a significant step forward in our shared mission to support patients and advance thalassaemia care.
