INNOVATEX 2026 provided a vibrant platform for Final Year students of the Department of the Computer Sciences, QAU to present innovative projects addressing real-world challenges through modern computing technologies.

The event highlighted creativity, technical excellence, collaboration, and research-driven problem solving in diverse areas of Computer Science.

A total of 24 projects were showcased in fields including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, IoT, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Healthcare Informatics, and Web & Mobile Technologies. Students presented practical solutions for healthcare, education, automation, legal technology, smart systems, and business analytics.

The projects were evaluated by distinguished external experts from Capital University of Science and Technology, Fatima Jinnah Women University, and International Islamic University Islamabad, alongside faculty members of the Department of Computer Sciences.

پاکستان نیشنل ہارٹ ایسوسی ایشن (پناہ) اور قائداعظم یونیورسٹی نے پاکستان میں غیر متعدی بیماریوں کی بڑھتی ہوئی شرح کو کم کرنے اور ان کے صحت، معیشت اور معاشرے پر منفی اثرات سے نمٹنے کے لیے باہمی تعاون پر مبنی مفاہمتی یادداشت (MoU) پر دستخط کیے ہیں۔

پاکستان میں دل کے امراض، ذیابیطس، موٹاپا، کینسر، ہائی بلڈ پریشر اور فالج جیسے غیر متعدی امراض تشویشناک حد تک بڑھ رہے ہیں۔ پاکستان میں ہونے والی 60 فیصد سے زائد اموات کی وجہ غیر متعدی امراض ہیں، جبکہ غیر صحت بخش خوراک، تمباکو نوشی، میٹھے مشروبات، جسمانی سرگرمیوں میں کمی اور الٹرا پراسیسڈ خوراک ان بیماریوں کی بڑی وجوہات ہیں ۔غیر متعدی امراض صرف صحت کا مسئلہ نہیں بلکہ ایک سنگین معاشی چیلنج بھی ہیں، کیونکہ ان بیماریوں کے علاج اور پیداواری صلاحیت میں کمی کی وجہ سے ہر سال اربوں روپے خرچ ہوتے ہیں۔ اکیڈمیا اور سول سوسائٹی یہ شراکت داری تحقیق، آگاہی اور شواہد پر مبنی پالیسی سازی کو فروغ دینے میں اہم کردار ادا کرے گی۔
