Dear Software Engineering Students
As per the recommendation of PEC for Software Engineering Degree Program, it is been officially communicated to the University that in order to Complete Bachelor’s Degree requirement ,Every Software student needs to complete 6 weeks internship during their 4 years degree program , however failing to complete 6 weeks internship , student may not be eligible for the degree . In order to help students to fulfill internship requirement, department has offered National freelancing Training as 3 months internship which is being offered by Punjab Information technology board , Government of Sindh and Mehran UET Jamshoro. Every software student needs to register for this three months course in order to fulfill his internship requirement. Those who already have taken this course from NFTP are not eligible for this Course. Student needs to pay 1000 Rs once as Course fee. Internship Certificate will be offered after Successful completion. Moreover this internship will be offered four times in one year. Details of three domains are listed in the flyer attached with this message. Department of Electronic Engineering is organizing (0.5) CPD Webinar on "Prospect Funding Opportunities for FYPs"

Call for proposals open for this year's NGIRI 2021 since 14th Dec 2020 and the last date for submission is 1st Feb 2021. In order to expedite and increase the number of submissions within time, the Department of Electronics Engineering is organising an awareness/informative webinar (0.5 CPD) including writing grant applications and procedure too for Ignite funding.
