21 April marks the death anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, one of the most influential poets, philosophers, and thinkers of the subcontinent.

🕊️ About Allama Iqbal

* Born: 9 November 1877
* Died: 21 April 1938
* Known as: Shair-e-Mashriq (Poet of the East)
* Played a key role in inspiring the idea of Pakistan
* Wrote poetry in both Urdu and Persian

🌟 His Legacy

Iqbal awakened the Muslim youth with his powerful poetry, encouraging self-respect (Khudi), unity, and vision. His ideas later influenced leaders like Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in the struggle for Pakistan.

“Khudi ko kar buland itna ke har taqdeer se pehle,
