سوات سنو فیسٹیول *(SWAT SNOW FESTIVAL)* کے منتظمین پاک فوج کی باضابطہ دعوت اور معزز وائس چانسلر جناب پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شکیب اللہ صاحب کی ہدایات کی روشنی میں یونیورسٹی اف ویٹرنری اینڈ اینیمل ساینسز (UVAS) کی فیکلٹی اور طلباء نے مالم جبہ میں منعقدہ *سوات سنو فیسٹیول (SWAT SNOW FESTIVAL)* میں شرکت کی.اس تقریب میں طلباء کی رہنمائی اور نگرانی کے فرائض ڈاکٹر سہراب احمد،ڈاکٹر عدنان بادشاہ، ڈاکٹر زھرا انور اور محترمہ فائزہ اقبال نے سر انجام دیے. طلباء نے مختلف کھیلوں میں یونیورسٹی ھذا کی نمایندگی بھی کی جسمیں کہ طلحہ ریاض (AI) اور ادینہ واجد( DPT) نے سنو بکٹ میں پہلی جبکہ سکندر شاہ (AI) اور سویرا سلمان)(DPT) نے FAMILY SLEDGES GAME میں تیسری اور فاطمہ واجد (DPT) اور سمامہ ایاز (MLT) نے SNOW MAN میں تیسری پوزیشن حاصل کی.
معزز وائس چانسلر صاحب نے بچوں کی حوصلہ افزائی کے لیے تقریب میں خود بھی شرکت کی اور طلباء کے جزبے کو سراہا اور ساتھ ھی اس عزم کا اعادہ بھی کیا وہ UVAS کی نصابی اور ہم نصابی ترقی کے لیے اپنا بھرپور تعاون جاری رکھیں گے. فیکلٹی اور طلباء نے اس تقریب میں شرکت کے لیے اجازت پر وائس چانسلر صاحب اورمعاونت پر یونیورسٹی انتظامیہ اور In-charge co curricular activities ڈاکٹر خرم ادریان شاہ صاحب کا شکریہ ادا کیا.

یونیورسٹی آف ویٹرنری اینڈ اینیمل سائنسز، سوات کو یہ اندوہناک خبر انتہائی رنج و الم کے ساتھ موصول ہوئی کہ ہمارے نہایت محترم اور قابل قدر ساتھی، ڈاکٹر عزیز اللہ، اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر، شعبہ مینجمنٹ سائنسز، انتقال فرما گئے ہیں۔ ان کی وفات سے جامعہ ایک مخلص، باصلاحیت اور فرض شناس استاد سے محروم ہو گئی ہے۔

ڈاکٹر عزیز اللہ نے اپنی پیشہ ورانہ زندگی میں تدریس، تحقیق اور طلبہ کی تربیت کے میدان میں نمایاں خدمات سرانجام دیں۔ وہ نہ صرف ایک بہترین معلم تھے بلکہ اپنے خوش اخلاق رویے، سادگی اور خلوص کے باعث اساتذہ، طلبہ اور ساتھی عملے میں یکساں طور پر محترم سمجھے جاتے تھے۔ ان کی علمی کاوشیں اور ادارے کے لیے خدمات ہمیشہ قدر کی نگاہ سے یاد رکھی جائیں گی۔

In furtherance of the vision and sustained patronage of Vice Chancellor UVAS Swat, Prof Dr Shakeeb Ullah, to foster meaningful academic, clinical integration and to reinforce professional training benchmarks, the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Swat has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saidu Teaching Hospital, Swat. The accord is aimed at institutionalising structured clinical and diagnostic training pathways for students of Allied Health Sciences.

The MoU was formally executed by Dr Najeeb Ullah, Medical Superintendent, Saidu Teaching Hospital, and Dr Khalid Khan, Additional Registrar, UVAS Swat.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Dr Shahzad Ahmad, In-Charge, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences; Mr Shahzeb, Head of Department (MIT); Dr Maryam Iqbal, Director Admissions; and Mr Zia, Litigation Officer, SGTH.

Under this collaborative framework, students enrolled in BS Allied Health Sciences programmes, including Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Medical Imaging Technology (MIT) and Dental Technology, will undertake supervised clinical rotations and hands-on training. The training will be conducted across the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Department, diagnostic laboratories, pathology and radiology units of the hospital to ensure rigorous practical exposure aligned with contemporary clinical standards.

The Vice Chancellor underscored the importance of forging robust institutional linkages with premier healthcare establishments to uphold academic excellence, professional proficiency and regulatory compliance in Allied Health Sciences education. He also conveyed his appreciation to the Health Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and particularly acknowledged the support and cooperation of Dr Najeeb Ullah, Medical Superintendent SGTH; Dr Muhammad Khan, Deputy Medical Superintendent SGTH; and Mr Zia, Litigation Officer SGTH, for their facilitation and institutional support.

This MoU signifies the University’s strategic resolve to cultivate competent, ethical and clinically adept healthcare professionals equipped to serve both the province and the country at large.

Today the University Semester Committee held an important meeting in the committee room. The purpose of this meeting was to talk about the upcoming semester and to make sure everything is clear for both students and teachers.
In the meeting, the members discussed the semester rules and the exam paper pattern. These points are very important because they guide how classes will run and how exams will be prepared. By talking about these issues together, the committee is working to make the semester system smooth, fair, and helpful for everyone.

محکمۂ اعلیٰ تعلیم، حکومتِ خیبر پختونخوا کی ہدایات کے مطابق اور معزز وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شکیب اللہ کی سرپرستی میں، یونیورسٹی آف ویٹرنری اینڈ اینیمل سائنسز، سوات نے 05 فروری 2026 کو یومِ یکجہتیٔ کشمیر پورے جوش و جذبے، عزم اور اساتذہ، عملے اور طلبہ کی بھرپور شرکت کے ساتھ منایا۔

تقریب کا باقاعدہ آغاز تلاوتِ کلامِ پاک سے ہوا۔ بعد ازاں کشمیر یکجہتی ڈے کی تاریخی اور سیاسی اہمیت پر ایک جامع اور معلوماتی پریزنٹیشن ڈاکٹر علمدار حسین ملک، ایڈوائزر، کی جانب سے پیش کی گئی۔

اس کے بعد ایک انٹرایکٹو مباحثے کا سیشن منعقد کیا گیا جس میں یونیورسٹی کے عملے نے کشمیر کاز سے یکجہتی کا اظہار کیا اور اپنے خیالات کا تبادلہ کیا۔

تقریب کے انتظامی امور ڈاکٹر خرم ادریان شاہ، انچارج کو-کرکولر ایکٹیوٹیز، اور ڈاکٹر سہراب احمد، اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر نے احسن طریقے سے انجام دیے۔

ڈاکٹر محمد شاہکار عذیر، انچارج میڈیا، نے تقریب کی مکمل میڈیا کوریج اور دستاویزی ریکارڈ کو یقینی بنایا۔

A heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Khurram Adrian Shah, Director Student Affairs, for his outstanding efforts and dedication. The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Swat, participated in a prestigious event organized by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in connection with Anti-Corruption Week. On this auspicious occasion, a token of appreciation letter was awarded by NAB in recognition of the exemplary cooperation and unwavering support of the Director Students Affairs (DSA), Dr. Khurram Adrian Shah. This remarkable achievement is a matter of immense pride for UVAS Swat, as Dr. Khurram Adrian Shah received this prestigious recognition among all universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The university extends its sincere gratitude to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shakeeb Ullah, for his visionary leadership, invaluable guidance, and unwavering support. Special thanks are extended to the Additional Registrar, Dr. Khalid Khan for his continuous support and administrative assistance, which played a pivotal role in making this event a grand success.

On the directions of the Honourable Vice Chancellor, the Directorate of Information Technology organized a comprehensive training session for the faculty members of UVAS Swat in the Main Conference Room.

The session focused on the newly introduced digital attendance system and was conducted by the Assistant Director IT, Mr. Maaz Ali Mumtaaz, along with the IT team. Faculty members representing various academic departments actively participated in the training.

The Attendance Application has been launched on a trial basis with the approval of the competent authority. The system is designed to streamline attendance management by ensuring quick and efficient marking, minimizing manual paperwork, enhancing data accuracy, maintaining secure digital records, and enabling effective monitoring of staff and student attendance. This initiative also promotes transparency, accountability, and improved administrative oversight.

This important step reflects the university’s commitment to digital transformation and modern governance, highlighting the visionary leadership of the Honourable Vice Chancellor and the continued support of the Additional Registrar, Dr. Khalid Khan, towards strengthening institutional efficiency through technology.

A delegation from the Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) conducted its zero visit to the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Swat on Thursday, 29 January 2026, as part of the initial regulatory assessment for Allied Health programs. The delegation was formally received by Vice Chancellor Dr. Shakeeb Ullah, Additional Registrar Dr. Khalid Khan, along with faculty members of Faculty of Sciences.
During the visit, Dr. Shahzad Ahmad, Incharge and Head of Faculty of Sciences, delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining the university’s vision, academic framework, infrastructure, and scope of allied health sciences disciplines The AHPC team subsequently inspected classrooms and laboratories of Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Dental Technology (DT), Medical Imaging Technology (MIT), and Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), and expressed satisfaction with the available academic and laboratory facilities.

The Allied Health Professional Council is the statutory regulatory body responsible for accreditation, standardization, and registration of allied health education and professionals across Pakistan, ensuring quality education and professional competence. The zero visit marks an important milestone toward formal recognition of allied health programs at UVAS Swat. The AHPC delegation advised the university to address minor observations and informed that a second inspection visit will be scheduled in the near future for full registration of the allied health programs, which will ensure academic credibility, professional recognition, and long-term career security for enrolled students.

University administration reaffirmed its commitment to meeting all regulatory requirements and further strengthening teaching, research, and clinical training facilities in accordance with national standards.

The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Swat signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore to strengthen cooperation in academic, research, student training and capacity building of faculty and administrative staff.

UVAS Lahore Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I) and UVAS Swat Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Shakeeb Ullah signed the MoU in the ceremony held at UVAS City Campus while Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani and few officials from both organizations were present.

Under the MoU, both institutions will work on joint research & interdisciplinary projects and they will provide training opportunities for students including pre-internships, internships and for practical exposure. They will share their research facilities equipment, scientific resources, clinics, farms and other technical infrastructure. They will exchange their faculty members for teaching, research, training and academic consultation. Both institutions will also exchange of academic materials, publications and research findings and they will also jointly organize training programs, workshops, conferences and continuing professional development sessions etc.
