Naqsh is a movement for preservation of traditional arts with a motto of “preserve for posterity” and providing skills to the less privileged interested in art which will be useful to them life long and will make them a respectable part of community. Naqsh also provides an opportunity to women and men who have dropped out of mainstream education and have a desire to acquire traditional artistic skills. Naqsh offers three years certificate course in traditional arts and craft with the following subjects:
Calligraphy and Naqashi
Miniature Painting
Sculpture and Ceramics

There is no age limit for admission. The faculty at Naqsh School of Arts comprises both permanent and visiting staff. We are proud that many of our teachers are alumni. NAQSH GALLERY
Naqsh offers education not only in the field of fine arts but also enables the students to join other professions. naqsh also has graduates working full time to produce works of arts, for example, miniature, calligraphy, tughras, tiles and other customized art works by Naqsh artists are displayed for sale in the Naqsh arts gallery. Buy affordable art works by students and emerging artists and support Naqsh. It is an non-profit organization, the proceeds of the sale is expended for supporting the students and the school. ELECTIVE SUBJECTS FOR INTERMEDIATE
In the spirit of trying to better itself Naqsh works continuously on enhancing its facilities and improving course offering. Proposal for addition of subjects at intermediate level is in pipe line. The subjects are:
Traditional Minature Paining
Calligraphy and Naqashi
Sculpture and Ceramics
Currently the students of intermediate select three subjects. A student who opts fine arts is constrained to select two elective subjects of entirely different disciplines. Addition of these subjects at intermediate level will provide reliable base to the students who aspire to study fine arts at still higher levels. To assess their aptitude the drawing test is given (for the intermediate course only).
