🏛️ UL University of Layyah Joins ISPR for National Security Workshop 2026

A special session of the DG ISPR on National Security Challenges, held during the "National Security and Strategic Leadership Workshop 2026", with Vice-chancellors, Deans, Registrars, and Senior Professors from over 200 universities across Pakistan.

The participants stated that the Pakistan Armed Forces have played a proud role in the defense, stability, and security of the country.

The participants further added that the entire discussion was based on facts, data, arguments, and the national interest, which helped in gaining a better understanding of several important matters.

Vice-chancellors and senior academic leadership stated that the impact of social media on youth is profound, often leading students to fall prey to misleading information; however, this session has provided them with clear guidance on how to inform students of the correct facts, protect them from negative propaganda, and help them identify accurate information.

The participants said that 65% of Pakistan's population consists of youth; therefore, it is the need of the hour for academia to provide clear awareness regarding national security, information warfare, and the challenges facing the country.
The participants also stated that this connection established between the Pakistan Armed Forces and academia is the need of the hour.

On behalf of the University of Layyah, Director ORIC Dr-Zeshan Khokhar extended warm congratulations to the DG ISPR on the one-year anniversary of "Marka-e-Haq" and "Operation Bunyaan-ul-Marsoos", honoring the historic sacrifices and successes of the Pakistan Armed Forces during the unprovoked war imposed by India and he inquired about the "Strategic Consequences" of the operation, to which the DG ISPR provided a detailed deliberation. The Director QEC UL Dr. Azhar Abbas was also present at the ceremony.

🇵🇰 The University of Layyah remains committed to empowering our youth with truth, academic excellence, and national pride.
