World AIDS Day Awareness Session Held Today

A Joint Initiative of Muslim Law College, Swat & Shifa Foundation

In a commendable initiative bridging health and legal advocacy, the Muslim Law College Swat and Shifa Foundation (the sister organization of Shifa International Hospitals) jointly organised a World AIDS Day Awareness Session today, demonstrating a collaborative commitment to advancing public health awareness and promoting legally informed social responsibility within the community.

This jointly executed initiative reflects the shared vision of both institutions-to educate, empower, and legally sensitize students and society on matters where public health and fundamental rights intersect.

This session provided a critical platform to examine HIV/AIDS not only as a public health challenge but also through the essential lens of legal rights, social justice, and ethical responsibility.

Future legal minds engaged in vital discussions on combating stigma, protecting patient rights, and understanding the legal frameworks that support public health initiatives.

We are honored to have had Dr. Imran from Saidu Group of Teaching Hospital, Swat as our esteemed guest speaker, whose insights illuminated the medical and societal dimensions of the issue.

The college administration extends its sincere appreciation to Shifa Foundation for their partnership in this meaningful endeavor.

Together, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering legally aware and socially responsible citizens who are equipped to advocate for a more just and healthy society.

Theses/Research Work Defense – A Defining Moment

The journey of legal education reached a significant milestone as students stepped forward to defend their research work. In the presence of esteemed examiners, candidates presented their theses, engaged in discussions, and justified their arguments with logic and evidence.
