MOTIVATIONAL BIOGRAPHY:
"Meet Young Advocate Aitzaz Aslam Abbasi"
- He got his higher secondary education from his home town Moro. In his teen age, his mind was quite clear regarding his future. So, instead of going for Medical or Engineering, he choose LLB as his career.
- Subsequently, he got admission in LL.B Zulfikar Ali Bhutto of Law Karachi. He was quite active student in University. He joined Jinnah Ka Pakistan Lawyers Forum as a general member and then worked as Head of SZABUL Wing for the aforesaid forum. During this period he not only attended sessions on Legal Topics but also deriverd his knowledge to the newbies physically as well as via Facebook and Zoom.
Moreover, he attended Workshops, Sessions, Seminars and Conferences regarding legal education during his University. He always endeavoured to maintained a balance between his studies and extra cricurial activities.
- After his graduation, he Joined Barrister Sarmad Hani Muslim s/o Aamir Hani Muslim ( Retd. Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan).
- Initially he joined Sarmad Hani & Co as interne but Barrister Sarmad Hani Muslim offered Adv Aitzaz Aslam to join his firm as an Associate.
- Ever since his joining, he worked on matters pertaining to Constitution, Service, NAB and Civil litigation.
- As he was enthusiastic enough and highly focused , his senior recognized his potential and encouraged him to work on most famous cases of Pakistan.
- Some of the cases in which He assisted his Senior Barrister Sarmad Hani Muslim are given Below:
1. Supreme Court's Suo Motu Reference on Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri's ruling in which he dismissed no-confidence motion against Ex-PM Imran Khan and subsequently dissolved national assembly. In this reference Adv Aitzaz Aslam burnt midnight oil and did research work for his senior and cited numerous case laws on said issue from Constitutional History of Pakistan, India & UK. Consequently, decision came in favour of his Senior's client Shahbaz Shahrif who later on became Prime Minister of Pakistan.
2. Presidential Reference No. 1/2022 seeking opinion of Supreme Court on Article 63-A of Constitution which seeks disqualification of parliamentarians over defection. It was maintained by ex-PM Imran Khan that his party's MNA s were involved in Horse Trading. In this case Adv Aitzaz Aslam carried out excellent research and the short order of Supreme Court came in his senior's favour.
3. C.P No. 7622/2018 in this case Sindh Govt. had illegally merged PCS and PSS and introduced PMS. As a result Assistant Commissioners and Section Officers were merged. However, when the clients approached Sarmad Hani and Co, very young and talented Adv Aitzaz Aslam assisted his Senior and once again got the relief for their clients from High Court.
