ORIC Emerson University Strengthens Research Capacity!

The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), Emerson University, organized a faculty capacity-building training on “Mastering Research Funding,” with a special focus on NRPU 2026–27, aimed at enhancing faculty members’ research funding and grant-writing capabilities.

The session commenced with a warm welcome to the distinguished resource person, Dr. Seerat Fatima, Associate Professor, Institute of Management Sciences, BZU, who led an insightful training session, followed by an interactive Q&A session. Her professional excellence and academic expertise added immense value to the learning experience.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Nadir Munir, Director ORIC, Emerson University, who acknowledged the resource person’s valuable contribution.

HEC, in collaboration with Ignite – National Technology Fund, Ministry of IT & Telecommunication, is organizing an awareness webinar on the Prime Minister's SPARK & ELEVATE Programme, aimed at supporting the development, validation, commercialisation and scale-up of promising research and technology-based solutions.
The webinar will provide an overview of the Programme, including its funding windows, eligibility criteria, focus areas and application process, and will particularly highlight opportunities available to researchers and academia.

The Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC), Emerson University, Multan was pleased to organize an impactful session in collaboration with Accelerate Punjab, a project of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), for the students of Emerson University.

The session provided our students with valuable exposure to entrepreneurship, innovation, mentorship, business development, incubation, and commercialization, helping them understand how promising ideas can be transformed into sustainable ventures and meaningful economic opportunities.

The initiative was further complemented by an Awareness Session on the harmful effects and health hazards of drug consumption, aimed at educating and empowering our youth to make informed and responsible choices.

A meaningful initiative reflecting ORIC Emerson University's commitment to fostering innovation, nurturing entrepreneurial talent, empowering youth, and promoting a healthy and responsible student community.
