A clean sweep of glory. What an honour that every title, every triumph was claimed by our unstoppable orators. Ms. Malaika Faraz (1st Position), Ms. Ayesha Batool (2nd Position), Ms. Asifa Danish (3rd Position), and Ms. Shanza Javed (Consolation Award) lit up the stage at the All Multan Inter-University Declamation Contest, organized by Zakariyan Seerat-un-Nabi Society in collaboration with the Allama Iqbal Art and Literary Society.

Another gleaming trophy joins our legacy: the Team Trophy in Declamation, won by our powerhouse duo, Ms. Ayesha Batool (1st Position, Urdu Serious) and Ms. Umama Hassan (1st Position, English Humorous), who conquered the stage with brilliance, grace, and fiery expression at the South Punjab Trilingual Declamation Contest and Asian Parliamentary Debate hosted by Emerson University, Multan.
Huge shoutout to our dynamic duo also, Ms. Asifa Danish (1st Position, Urdu Humorous) and Ms. Malaika Faraz (2nd Position, English Serious), as they are the crown prince of clever comebacks; offended? That’s your emotional baggage to carry.

Not all beginnings are humble, some roar into history. In the very first breath of our existence, the WUM Debating and Declamation Society set the bar sky-high by clinching six podium titles in a single event!
At the heart of this triumph stood our Parliamentary Debating Team, Ms. Ayesha Atta,Ms. Bareera Mustafa, and Ms. Ayesha Batool; bold, brilliant, and unbeatable. With every clash of arguments and every strike of logic, they owned the arena and brought home 1st Position and the Winner’s Trophy.

Mr. Hassan Mirza, has firmly established his place as one of the most accomplished figures in Pakistan's debating circuit. With over 50 All-Karachi titles, 4 All-Sindh, and 5 All-Pakistan wins, his record speaks volumes. He won the unique “Speak for Hussain” competition, earning a pilgrimage to Karbala, and also clinched the All Pakistan Karbala Nama in Lahore. A consistent presence on national media, he was the 2nd runner-up in TV One’s Andaaz-e-Bayan, a winner in ARY’s Shan-e-Ramzan, and has appeared on PTV, Bol, Express, and more. He has judged Metro One’s Ramzan segment Ramz-e-Khitabat for three years and secured the All Pakistan title at National Textile University. Awarded the Haji Abdul Razzaq Memorial Award, he has also received two Gold Medals from the University of Karachi. A poet, leader, and member of the Pakistan Debate Council, his legacy bridges performance and mentorship.

‎لاہور کی فکری گِل سے مری کے کہرآلود افق تک، اکسفورڈ کے سنگی ایوانوں سے ہارورڈ کے ستونی دالانوں، ہاپکنز کے دفترانِ خرد سے اسٹینفورڈ کے فکری بُرجوں تک ہر گوشہ اس ذہن کے قندیلِ ادراک سے منور ہوا جس نے معانی کو تعمیر کی مانند تراشا اور فکر کو معمار کی مشق کی مانند سلیقہ عطا کیا۔
‎جنابِ علی محض سخن‌آور نہیں، فنون و علوم کی یکجا صورت ہیں شاعر، مصنف، مفکر، فلسفی، فنکار ، تجزیہ نگار، سماجی کارکن اور معمارِ معنی، ان کے مکالمات نے دانش کو صریرِ خامہ سے بلند کیا، اور فن کو عقل کا ہمزاد ٹھہرایا۔
آپ فارمن کرسچن کالج یونیورسٹی کی تاریخ میں سب سے کم عمر اور برق رفتار رول آف آنر کے امین ٹھہرے۔
بطور صدرِ انٹرمیڈیٹ برائے فارمَنائٹس ڈیبیٹنگ سوسائٹی انہوں نے مناظرے کو تہذیب کا وقار بخشا، حلقۂ فنون و ادب کی صدارت میں جمالیات کو استدلال کی جڑوں میں پیوست کیا اور FORMUN کے انٹرمیڈیٹ سفیر کے طور پر عالمی مکالمے کو فکری صداقت کی لوری دی۔
ان کی فکری ابتدا کریسنٹ ماڈل اسکول میں ہوئی جہاں وہ اردو و انگریزی مناظروں میں درجۂ اول پر فائز رہے اور کپتانِ خانۂ ظفرمند کے طور پر قیادت کا پہلا نقش چھوڑا۔
وہیں پارلیمانی خطابت نے انہیں اپنا محرم بنایا اور ہر انجمن میں وہ خطابت کے تاجدار ہوۓ۔
زمانے نے جب ان کے افکار کو عالمی افق عطا کیے تو ان کی آواز نے سرحدوں کو ایسی روانی سے عبور کیا کہ آکسفورڈ، ہارورڈ، ہاپکنز، اسٹینفورڈ اور بے شمار عالمی دانش گاہوں میں ان کا نام وقار کی طرح گونجا۔
قومی و بین الاقوامی سطح پر مختصر عرصے میں ساٹھ سے زائد مقابلوں میں بہترین پارلیمانی مقرر کا اعزاز ان کی اسی تابندگی کا ثبوت ہے۔
مناظروں سے آگے بڑھ کر انہوں نے کلاسیکی تھیٹر میں اپنی تخلیقی موجودگی ثبت کی اور یوں فنِ اظہار کو نئی لطافت بخشی۔
‏MUN کی دنیا میں بھی انہوں نے اپنی شناخت کو وقار کا معیار بنایا علی کے اٹھاون سے زائد MUN ایوارڈز ان کی محنت، ریاضت اور تخلیقی عظمت کی روشن علامت ہیں۔
ان کی علمی و فکری خدمات کے اعتراف میں ڈی آئی جی، آئی جی لاہور اور گورنر پنجاب اور دیگر وزرا نے انہیں خصوصی اعزازات سے نوازا۔

Our next member of the CAP, Ms. Maroosha Tul Jannat, is a prodigious figure in the debating circuit. She has spent the past four years shaping herself into one of the most deliberate and disciplined voices in the Urdu debating circuit. Nothing about her rise has been accidental; it is the product of persistence, clarity, and a temperament built for high-pressure rooms. Her notable achievements across the circuit including Open Grand Finalist at the 29th GCU Parliamentary Debating Championship (2025), Semifinalist at MUARKA 2022 (COMSATS), Quarterfinalist at AIMC DebateMania 2023, and Semifinalist at AIMC DebateMania 2025, 7th Best Speaker at KCDC’24, 2nd Best Speaker at DebateMania’25, and Top 10 Speaker’s list GCUPD’25, reflect a profile shaped by growth, rigour, and the ability to hold her own in any room. However, her impact goes beyond speaker points. As President of the Shanawar Debating Society, FJMU, she has redefined what leadership in a women-only institution can look like; when FJMU witnessed its first-ever All-Female Parliamentary Championship, a tournament that did not replicate the circuit, but challenged it by centering voices long kept at the margins.
