𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐚-𝐞-𝐇𝐚𝐪 & 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐧𝐲𝐚𝐧-𝐮𝐧-𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 – 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬

As part of the Marka-e-Haq & Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos activities, faculty cricket matches were held on 10 May 2026 at the UET Mardan campus between Shuhada-e-APS University of Technology Nowshera and UET Mardan.

The University of Technology Nowshera displayed an outstanding performance and secured a 2–0 victory in the cricket series against UET Mardan. In the first match, UoT Nowshera set a target of 131 runs in 8 overs and won by 60 runs after restricting UET Mardan to 71 runs. In the second match, UET Mardan scored 80 runs in 8 overs, while UoT Nowshera successfully chased the target in 7.3 overs to complete the clean sweep.

At the conclusion of the event, trophies were distributed among the winner and runner-up teams by the Pro Vice Chancellor of UET Mardan, Prof. Dr. Imran Khan. UoT Nowshera extends sincere gratitude to UET Mardan for their warm hospitality, excellent arrangements, and successful organization of the series.

The matches were played in a spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and mutual respect, reflecting the strong bond and collaboration between the two institutions.

The outstanding achievements of Shuhada-e-APS University of Technology Nowshera students at COMPPEC 2026 received prominent coverage in leading newspapers.

UoT students earned national recognition through top awards in Mechanical Innovation, Software Project, and Speed Programming categories. The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Saeed Badshah and university management congratulated the winning students and supervisors for bringing pride to UoT Nowshera.

𝐔𝐨𝐓 𝐍𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝟏𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠

The 14th meeting of the Academic Council of Shuhada-e-APS University of Technology Nowshera was held on 7th May 2026 under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Saeed Badshah. The meeting was attended by Heads of Departments, Academic Council members, and senior university officials to deliberate on important academic and institutional development matters.

During the meeting, several key agenda items were discussed, including the inclusion of a mandatory 3-credit hour Artificial Intelligence course in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, implementation of mandatory certifications and internships, approval of official statutory office logos, approval of the governance structure of Business Incubation Center (BIC), and policies aimed at promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and student achievements through academic and extracurricular incentives. The council also reviewed progress on previous decisions and discussed measures to further strengthen academic quality and employability-oriented education at the university.

Shuhada-e-APS University of Technology Nowshera proudly marked the successful completion of the Free Short Course on Solarization, organized in collaboration with the Directorate of Science & Technology, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The final day of the course featured engaging practical sessions conducted by Engr. Asif Kamal and his team from Neom Solar Solutions, Nowshera. Participants received hands-on exposure to solar system design, installation, and deployment, along with practical understanding of on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid solar solutions.

Throughout the course, students demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and active participation, reflecting their growing interest in renewable energy technologies and sustainable engineering practices. The initiative provided valuable industry-oriented learning opportunities aimed at enhancing technical skills and preparing students for emerging career opportunities in the energy sector.

On 7th May 2026, Shuhada-e-APS University of Technology Nowshera observed “Marka-e-Haq” as part of the national commemoration from 1st to 10th May 2026. The day started with a formal flag hoisting ceremony held in the university premises.

Faculty members and students participated with respect and solemnity. Special prayers were also offered after the flag hoisting ceremony for the prosperity, peace, and progress of Pakistan, as well as for the well-being of the nation. The ceremony reflected national unity, remembrance, and commitment to the values of truth and sacrifice.

Shuhada-e-APS University of Technology Nowshera is pleased to announce the successful continuation of the Free Short Course on Solarization with Day 4 sessions focused on practical solar system applications and modern renewable energy solutions. The training program is being conducted in collaboration with Directorate of Science & Technology Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to equip students with industry-oriented technical skills in the rapidly growing solar energy sector.

The upcoming session will feature Engr. Asif Kamal from Neom Solar Solutions, Nowshera, who will share his professional experience and practical knowledge regarding solar system design, installation, and hybrid energy solutions. Shuhada-e-APS University of Technology Nowshera successfully conducted Day 3 of the Free Short Course on Solarization in collaboration with Directorate of Science & Technology Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, continuing its mission to equip students with practical knowledge and industry-relevant technical skills in the field of renewable energy.

The third day of the training featured highly interactive and informative sessions delivered by distinguished industry experts from EPEVER Pakistan. The participants had the valuable opportunity to learn from:

As part of the Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos activities, Shuhada-e-APS University of Technology Nowshera proudly hosted a series of friendly inter-university cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball matches with University of Engineering and Technology Mardan on 6th May 2026 at the UoT Nowshera campus.

The event reflected the spirit of unity, discipline, resilience, and healthy competition among the students of both institutions. Players displayed exceptional sportsmanship, teamwork, and enthusiasm throughout the matches. UoT Nowshera secured a remarkable 3–1 victory in football and won the cricket series by 2–1, while UET Mardan delivered outstanding performances in volleyball with a 2–0 win and basketball with a score of 53–20.

The activity served as an excellent opportunity to strengthen inter-university collaboration, promote positive student engagement, and encourage physical and mental well-being through sports. The administration of Shuhada-e-APS University of Technology Nowshera highly appreciated the participation and cooperation of the students and management of UET Mardan for making the event successful and memorable.
