Archaeology, Tourism & Hospitality, University of Peshawar Welcome to the Department of Archaeology, Tourism & Hotel Management, University of Peshawar The Department of Archaeology was established in 1960.

Apart from regular B.A (Hons) , M.Phil and Ph.D. degree programs, the Department is engaged in extensive and intensive field oriented research throughout the province. This research has added new chapters to our cultural history. One of the greatest achievements of the Department has been the construction of a beautiful museum, which houses a huge collection of antiquities excavated by the staff a

nd students since its inception. The Department publishes a research bulletin, Ancient Pakistan, that includes research articles and excavation reports.

Distinguished Guest Visit at the Department of Archaeology, Tourism & Hotel Management, University of Peshawar

​We were honored to welcome Mr. Humayun Khan, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Industries, Commerce, and Technical Education, for his visit to our department today.
​During his visit, fruitful discussions were held regarding the alignment of academic education with practical industry training. The session focused on:
