Govt. Khawaja Fareed Graduate College, Rahim Yar Khan. An Official page of Govt. Kh. Fareed Graduate College, Rahim Yar Khan. In the infancy, it consisted of only three rooms. Ghulam Farid.

The state of Bahawalpur laid down the foundation of this college in “Town Hall” in 1948. The College was shifted to the present building in 1954. It became a degree college in 1962. A resolution was passed in National Assembly in 1970 regarding the name. It was named after the famous Sufi Poet Kh. The classes for post graduate studies in English, Urdu, Economics and Political Science were introduced in 1995 and in 2012 college started 08 more programs in which M.Sc Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics, M.A International Relations, M..Ed and B.Ed classes are included. It is one of the largest college of South Punjab both in terms of area and enrollment.
