Respected Sir/Madam,
We, the students of the University of Sahiwal, are writing this email on behalf of the entire class to respectfully request your kind consideration regarding our upcoming mid-term examinations scheduled from 30 March 2026.
Due to the prevailing fuel crisis in the country, universities have remained closed and all classes have been conducted online for a considerable period. While we have continued our studies through the online mode, we have not been able to have physical interaction with our teachers for proper discussion, clarification of concepts, and effective preparation.
Furthermore, a large number of students belong to distant areas and face serious travel difficulties because of the fuel shortage. Many had gone back to their hometowns for Eid and are now unable to return on time due to the same crisis.
In view of these genuine hardships, we humbly request that the university may kindly:
Postpone the mid-term examinations by one week and allow us one week of physical classes so that we can prepare properly and discuss our courses with the faculty, OR
Conduct the mid-term examinations in online mode.
Either option will enable us to perform to the best of our ability and ensure fairness for all students. We shall be extremely grateful for your positive and early response in this regard.
