The Department of Physical Therapy, Riphah International University – Sahiwal Campus, proudly organized an educational visit to the prestigious Armed Forces Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFIRM), Islamabad.

This insightful visit provided our students with a valuable opportunity to observe advanced rehabilitation practices, state-of-the-art therapeutic equipment, and multidisciplinary patient management approaches under the supervision of highly skilled professionals. The interactive sessions enhanced students’ clinical understanding in areas including neurological rehabilitation, musculoskeletal therapy, prosthetics and orthotics, and spinal cord injury management.

AFIRM, being one of Pakistan’s leading rehabilitation centers, offered an inspiring learning environment where theory was effectively integrated with practical application. The experience not only strengthened our students’ professional knowledge but also motivated them to uphold the highest standards of patient-centered care and clinical excellence.

Visit to Pak-Korea Nutrition
Centre, UAF; Lauds to appreciate State-of-the-Art Facilities and Nutrition Initiatives of PKNC
Dr. Sabiha Abbas, Head of the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics/Food Science and Technology (RCRAHS), Riphah International University Sahiwal
Campus carried an official visit to the Pak Korea Nutrition Centre University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) to review its advanced research, training, and community outreach initiatives in the field of nutrition.
Upon her arrival, Dr. Sabiha Abbas was warmly received by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Atif Muhammad Randhawa, Central Project Director PKNC; Prof. Dr. Mian Kamran Sharif, Chair Product
Development and Value Addition; and Mr.
Muhammad Hamid Javed, Communication 0fficer, PkNC, at the state-of-the-art PKNC building.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Atif Randhawa provided a comprehensive briefing on the ongoing research and development activities at PKNC, highlighting the enter's mission to improve child and community
nutrition wellbeing through evidence-based
research, capacity building, innovative product development and targeted nutrition education programs. He emphasized PKNC's role as a national
rub for advancing nutrition solutions aligned with community needs.
Dr. Sabiha Abbas expressed her keen interest and appreciation for the modern PKNC laboratories raising halls and research facilities, noting their
potential to support high-quality research
professional training, and collaborative academic initiatives. She praised PKNC's integrated approach that bridges research with practical community impact.
The visit fostered on a positive and forward-looking note, with discussions on strengthening future academic and research collaboration between Riphah International University and PKNC, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad for the
uplifting child and community nutrition. The visit underscored a shared commitment to fostering innovation, partnership, and sustainable nutrition
development for healthier generations in collaboration with both institutes.

Students from FST and HND Department participated in 3rd Riphah Intervarsity Food Competition Riphah International University Lahore Campus. They developed multiple food products and presented in an open competition.

BS FST 3rd Semester achieved 1st Position for Apple Pie and Kiwi Tart.
While BS FST 1st Smester won 3rd position for Rose Petal Truffle Bites under the supervision of Miss Samra Khan
Our students are competing the students from the hub of Universities in Lahore mashAllah..
It is second time students have competed and won 2 positions along with cash prize in comparison to last year. Success always comes with hardwork, sincerity and dedication. Many congratulations to FST and HND faculty including Dr. Sabiha Abbas *Miss Samra Khan, Mr. Daniyal Munir and Mr. Ali Usman for their endless efforts to win this competition.

The Department of Physical Therapy, Riphah International University (Sahiwal Campus) successfully conducted a Free Medical & Physical Therapy Camp at Muzamil Centre, Pakpattan, with the aim of serving the community and promoting health awareness.

This meaningful initiative was organized under the leadership of Dr. Muhammad Sanaullah, Head of the Department of Physical Therapy, whose vision and dedication made this camp possible. The camp was conducted by Dr. Muzamil, along with the enthusiastic participation of physical therapy students, who provided their services with great professionalism and compassion.

During the camp, patients received free physical therapy assessments, guidance, and consultations, addressing various musculoskeletal and mobility-related conditions. The event not only helped patients access quality healthcare but also gave students valuable hands-on clinical experience while serving society.

The Department of Physical Therapy of Riphah International University Sahiwal proudly organized a Free Medical Camp for Special Children at the Sahiwal Art Council, in collaboration with Perwaz Society for Special Children. This noble initiative was a significant step toward promoting health, inclusion, and social responsibility within our community.

This impactful activity was made possible under the visionary leadership of our respected Head of Department, Dr. Muhammad Sanaullah, whose commitment to societal well-being and community service continues to inspire both students and faculty. His initiative reflects a true dedication to creating positive change beyond academic boundaries.

The camp was successfully executed through the remarkable efforts, sincerity, and professional conduct of the DPT students, who served the special children with compassion, patience, and care. Their enthusiasm and teamwork were truly commendable.
