SAU suspends classes on Wednesday as precautionary measure
TANDOJAM (Press Release) Sindh Agriculture University (SAU), Tandojam, has suspended all academic activities on Wednesday, Sept 2, following a clash between students belonging to two different communities on Tuesday.
According to a university spokesperson, the decision was taken as a precautionary measure amid concerns over possible further tension and to ensure the safety and security of students, faculty members and staff.
The university administration said all academic activities would remain suspended on Wednesday to prevent any untoward incident, protect students and safeguard university property and assets until further instructions.
The measure was also aimed at maintaining a peaceful environment on the campus and preventing any further escalation of the situation.
The administration directed all concerned to strictly comply with the decision and extend cooperation to help maintain peace and security on the campus.
