1st convocation

1st Convocation of HITEC University is planned on February 08, 2014. No request for Issuance of degrees in absentia will be entertained after January 08, 2014. All degrees will be issued after the Convocation

Graduating Students who have not yet applied for issuance of degree, shall also send degree request Form alongwith Registration Form (Download Herehttp://www.hitecuni.edu.pk/downloads/DegreeRequestForm.docx) for the Convocation.

General Instructions

All graduates of Batch 2007, 2008 & 2009 (BS-Electrical/Mechanical/Management science/Islamic Studies) and Batch 2009, 2010 & 2011 (MS – Electrical/Mechanical/Mathematics) and 2007 & 2008 (MBA) who have completed the requirement for grant of degree by January 17, 2014 are eligible for registration in Convocation.
Apply on prescribed Registration Form available on University website by January 24, 2014.
Complete the form in all respects and must attach photocopies of ID card of self and guests (parents/relatives etc.)
Rehearsal is mandatory to attend, only those graduates will be allowed to participate in the Convocation, who will attend Rehearsal on Friday, February 07, 2014.
Convocation Robes and Caps will be issued on the day of Rehearsal on payment of security @ Rs.1500.
Convocation robes/caps can be returned soon after the convocation outside the hall and security can be claimed.
Bring original C.N.I.C. Card on the day of Rehearsal & Convocation.


Entry cards

Invitation cards for self and guests will be issued to graduates on the day of Rehearsal
Entry without invitation cards & CNIC will not be allowed in the Convention Centre.
Dress Code

Male graduates - Lounge suit with tie

Female graduates – any sober dress

Graduates must reach at Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad at 10:00 AM.
Exact time will be displayed at University website.

Graduates / guests must reach at Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad at 10:00 AM.
Gates shall close at 10:00 AM
NOTE:

1. Cigarette Lighter / Mobiles Phone / Cameras / and other Electronic Devices are STRICTLY PROHIBITED and NOT ALLOWEDin the venue.

2. Children (Younger than 12 years) are NOT ALLOWED in the Convocation.
