Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI) is Pakistan's first and only fully residential university!

It provides a unique learning, collaboration, soft skills, and leadership development experience.

Group studies, dining, teamwork, joint projects, and extracurricular activities help them develop interpersonal skills while at the same time preparing them for the independence and responsibility they will face in GIKI, professional life, and beyond.

The GIKI experience is not just about the GPA, degree, books, and lectures; it leaves a lasting impact on a student's personal, educational, and professional growth.

Fully residential means all students, faculty, and engineers live on campus. Hostel Room, Classrooms, Hiking Trek, Labs, Library, Grounds, Gym, Swimming Pool, Sports Complex, Mess, Cafe, Restaurants, Fast Food, Mosque, Medical Center, Faculty Club/Guest House, Bank, Markets—everything within walking distance (a 500-meter radius) of the mesmerizing, lush green campus of GIKI.

GIKI provides numerous merit-based, need-based, and provincial scholarships and financial assistantships for undergraduate students, including:
- 20 GIKI merit scholarships
- 58 GIKI Alumni Association Scholarships (2nd year onwards)
- 50 GIKI need based Financial Assistance
- General GIKI General Financial Assistance (10 to 20% of revenue)
- 59 provincial (Punjab, KP, Sindh, and Balochistan) scholarships (different for all provinces)
- 20 Ihsan Trust Loans
- 4 Habbah Trust Loans
GIKI MS and PhD scholarships cover full tuition fee waiver, free accommodation and a monthly stipend.
