30th March 2023 marked the Motivational Talk by Raja Zia Ul Haq. The packed house, the enthusiasm of students and the hard work of the core team, must be acknowledged.

The event was attended by Mrs Prof Dr Jameel un Nabi, Director of Student Affairs Dr Bilal Ahmad, DDSA Engr. Waqas Javed and Chairpersons and Faculties of all departments.

Mr Raja Zia Ul Haq bestowed several gems of wisdom, collected attentively by the students at large. DSA Dr Bilal Ahmad and Dr Qazi Mahmood ul Hasan gave souvenirs to the distinguished speaker, on behalf of UW Environmental Society and Department of Psychology, respectively.

UW Environmental Society, in collaboration with the Department of Psychology is proud to introduce a motivational talk from Raja Zia ul Haq, motivational speaker, life coach, and CEO of Youth Club.

The Youth Club is a non-profit organization working on ethical and moral values for youth, providing a platform for educated youth and families to practice their energies and potential in the Islamic way for their betterment.

The topic of the talk will be "Environment Builds Personality".

UW environmental society has organised numerous successful events and campaigns under her kind guidance like Bulbul e Zaar, an environmental awareness play, Anti Smoking Campaign, Dengue fever awareness walk, multiple webinars, seminars on environmental conservation and much more.

"A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way"

We feel immensely proud to unveil the man of hour, the President himself, and our biggest source of inspiration, Mr. Muhammad Haris Ali, from the Department of Biosciences. His contribution to the UW Environmental Society session 2021-22 are vast and countless; from being the designated Graphic Designer to helping the ex-President lead and organize the events. Previously also involved with UW Science Society and Mass and Media Society (WEC) as Video Editor along with being the Departmental Head of Performing Arts & Entertainment Society UW. He has attended a number of conferences, both as a Participant and as an Organizer, including 5th Annual International Pak Turk Conference, 7th MDSRIC (Multi Disciplinary Student Research International Conference), 2nd UW-POF Joint Conference on Academia's Collaboration with Industrial Organizations (CACIO), NRC (National Reader's Conference). He has also served as an organizer in 8th and 9th Convocation, and helped in organizing various Drives (Blood, Food, Ramzan, Christmas), as an active member of the Social Services Society and Blood Donation Society of UW.

Strong leadership skills, coupled with a clear vision for the Society; he is ready to pave the way for future students. Compassionate, appreciative and empowering, his tenure will be nothing short of exceptional and outstanding. We're elevated to have him onboard and look forward to a terrific tenure.

Ms. Aleena Pervaiz from the Department of Statistics, proudly holds the position of Vice President (UW Campus) in UW Environmental Society. Actively participating in UW Science Society, UW Literary and Debating Society and Fine Arts Society, Ms. Aleena has a lot to offer. Her strong points include management skills and supervisory skills. Her hobbies include sketching, painting and acting. She is also the winner of a Drama Competition Competition organized in the university. Vocal and talented, she is determined to assist the President, and to prove herself to the Society.

From the Department of Civil Engineering, Mr. Hamza Kamal holds the position of Vice President (WEC) in UW Environmental Society. He has previously been appointed as an Event Manager in ASCE (American Society of Chemical Engineering), as well as an ambassador of Civil Mania. He is the Asian winner of Hult Prize, an annual, year-long competition that crowds sources ideas from university level students after challenging them to solve a pressing social issue. Passionate about his dreams and hobbies, he is intent on working hard to achieve all that he wants to.

Introducing Ms. Amna Jameel as our General Secretary UW, from Department of Psychology. Passionate and driven, she has a keen sense of responsibility. Being a multi talented individual, she has always been an active participant in different competitions like debate, declamation, singing, hosting, content writing and has achieved multiple awards and certificates. Currently, serving as an RJ at FM 101.8 and effectively contributing towards the media wing of the university. She has been a social media manager for Read Pakistan (A platform that encourages reading books). Apart from being active in extra curricular activities, she is a dignified student of her class and a rising star of the Psychology department.
