What does it take to build an MRT line through a bustling campus? 🚆

NTU CEE faculty members and students visited the J113/J115A MRT Project to gain first-hand insights into the engineering, construction challenges, and coordination involved in delivering a major rail infrastructure project.

Hosted by Hwa Seng Builder (HSB) Pte Ltd last month, the visit started with a briefing at the HSB site office, where participants were given an overview of the project and its key challenges.

The group then toured the J113 site located between the NTU and NIE campuses, where they were introduced to key features of the future MRT infrastructure, including the rail track, platform, and bridge connection to the NTU North Spine area.

CEE extends its sincere appreciation to Hwa Seng Builder Pte Ltd for hosting the visit and sharing valuable insights into the planning and delivery of complex urban rail infrastructure projects.
