[English below] เมื่อวันที่ 15 พฤษภาคม 2569 ซึ่งเป็นวันสุดท้ายของโครงการฝึกอบรมนานาชาติประจำปี (Annual International Training Course: AITC) ภายใต้หัวข้อ “Empowering Communities for Inclusive Development through SEP for SDGs: Lessons from Community-Based Participatory Research and Community-Driven Development in Thai Isan Villages” ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเพื่อเรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมไทยและวิถีชีวิตของคนไทยผ่านประสบการณ์ตรงในจังหวัดอุบลราชธานี ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่หลักในการดำเนินโครงการครั้งนี้
ภายใต้การสนับสนุนอย่างดียิ่งจาก กรมความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ (TICA: Thailand International Cooperation Agency) กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการได้เดินทางเยี่ยมชมคณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี เพื่อเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับการศึกษาระดับอุดมศึกษาไทย
โครงการได้ปิดท้ายด้วยงานเลี้ยงอำลาริมแม่น้ำโขง ณ โรงแรมทอแสง เฮอริเทจ โขงเจียม อำเภอโขงเจียม จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี ซึ่งเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้กระชับมิตรภาพและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นส่งท้ายภายหลังการเรียนรู้และการทำกิจกรรมร่วมกันในภูมิภาคอีสานตลอดระยะเวลาสองสัปดาห์
ตลอดการดำเนินโครงการระหว่างวันที่ 1–15 พฤษภาคม 2569 ดร.ฐิติพล ภักดีวานิช ผู้อำนวยการโครงการ ได้นำทีมจากคณะรัฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี ประกอบด้วย ดร.กิ่งกาญจน์ สำนวนเย็น ดร.พิศมัย ศรีเนตร ดร.ศิริพร จันทนสกุลวงศ์ และ ดร.ธนเชษฐ วิสัยจรร่วมกับผู้เข้าร่วมจำนวน 28 คน จาก 17 ประเทศ ได้แก่ อาร์เมเนีย อาเซอร์ไบจาน เอลซัลวาดอร์ สาธารณรัฐโดมินิกัน อินโดนีเซีย สปป.ลาว มาดากัสการ์ มาเลเซีย โมซัมบิก เมียนมา ไนจีเรีย ปากีสถาน ซามัว ซูดานใต้ ศรีลังกา ยูกันดา และอุซเบกิสถาน
โครงการดังกล่าวมุ่งหวังให้หลักสูตรฝึกอบรมนานาชาตินี้มิได้เป็นเพียงการฝึกอบรมในรูปแบบทั่วไปเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นเวทีสำหรับการเสวนา แลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ และประสบการณ์ เพื่อเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านการพัฒนาทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคมในกลุ่มประเทศโลกใต้ (Global South) พร้อมทั้งส่งเสริมมิตรภาพและความเข้าใจอันดีระหว่างผู้เข้าร่วมจากประเทศต่าง ๆ ในโลกใต้ร่วมกัน
On 15 May 2026, the final day of the Annual International Training Course (AITC) entitled “Empowering Communities for Inclusive Development through SEP for SDGs: Lessons from Community-Based Participatory Research and Community-Driven Development in Thai Isan Villages”, participants took part in activities aimed at understanding Thai culture and local ways of life in Thailand through direct experience in Ubon Ratchathani Province, which served as the main area for the implementation of the project.
With the generous support of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, participants visited the Faculty of Political Science, Ubon Ratchathani University, to explore the Thai higher education environment and exchange experiences with academic staff.
The programme concluded with a farewell dinner by the Mekong River at Tohsang Heritage Khongjiam Hotel, Khong Chiam District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, providing participants with an opportunity to strengthen friendships and exchange final reflections following two weeks of learning and engagement in the Isan region.
Throughout the implementation of the project from 1–15 May 2026, Dr Titipol Phakdeewanich, Project Director, led a team from the Faculty of Political Science, Ubon Ratchathani University, including Dr Kingkarn Sumnuanyen, Dr Pissamai Srinate, Dr Siriporn Jantanasakulwong, and Dr Thanachate Wisaijorn, together with 28 participants from 17 countries, namely Armenia, Azerbaijan, El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, Samoa, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Uganda, and Uzbekistan.
The programme was designed to ensure that this international training course served not merely as a conventional training programme, but also as a platform for discussion and the exchange of knowledge and experiences aimed at strengthening cooperation for socio-economic development across the Global South, whilst enhancing friendship and mutual understanding among participants from the Global South.
