12 Mayıs’ta hemşireliğin gücünü ve geleceğini birlikte kutladık! Bu yıl Türk Hemşireler Derneği İzmir Şubesi ile İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Hemşirelik Bölümü iş birliğinde düzenlenen Uluslararası Hemşireler Günü etkinliğinde ev sahipliği yapmaktan onur duyduk.
12 Mayıs sabahı Cumhuriyet Meydanı’nda gerçekleştirilen çelenk töreninin ardından, saat 11.00’de üniversitemiz konferans salonunda başlayan zengin bir programla değerli akademisyen, dernek üyeleri ve yöneticileri, hemşirelik öğrencileri ve tüm meslektaşlarımızla bir araya geldik. Uluslararası Hemşireler Birliği (ICN=International Council of Nurses) ‘in bu yılki teması olan “Hemşirelerimiz Geleceğimiz, Güçlendirilmiş Hemşireler Hayat Kurtarır” mottosuyla mesleğimizin bugününü ve geleceğini birlikte değerlendirdiğimiz bu keyifli etkinlikte bir arada olmaktan büyük mutluluk duyduk.
On May 12, we celebrated the power and future of nursing together! This year, we were honored to host the International Nurses’ Day event, organized in collaboration with the Izmir Branch of the Turkish Nurses’ Association and the Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Izmir University of Economics.
Following the wreath-laying ceremony held at Cumhuriyet Square on the morning of May 12, we gathered with esteemed academics, association members and executives, nursing students, and all our colleagues for a rich program that began at 11:00 a.m. in our university’s conference hall. We were delighted to come together at this enjoyable event, where we collectively reflected on the present and future of our profession under the International Council of Nurses (ICN) theme for this year: “Our Nurses, Our Future; Empowered Nurses Save Lives.”
