AT LONG LAST, MWANGAZA AFRICAN REVOLUTIONARY STUDY GROUPS LAUNCHED!
“Society is like a patient. In order to treat a patient, you must, first of all, carry out diagnosis of what could be the problem of that person. Once you have correctly diagnosed the patient, then you can make the prescription. If the diagnosis is wrong, the prescription cannot be right and if the prescription is not right the patient cannot be cured.
Similarly, society must be accurately diagnosed. The tools that help you to understand society, the ideas that help you to understand society correctly, are what constitute ideology. Having understood society well and its problems, you, then, make a prescription to treat the sickness. This is Strategy. Strategy is the plan to handle a problem: from A to Z, while tactics refer to handling portions of the problem: from A to B, etc. Therefore, ideology is a systematic way of understanding society issues; strategy is a holistic plan to solve a problem from A to Z, from beginning to end.” Yoweri K. Museveni, Chobe, 18th February 2019.
On 18th March 2022 at Muni University, Arua, 20th March 2022 at Gulu University and 22nd March 2022 at Lira University, we successfully launched the Mwangaza African Revolutionary Study Groups. It has been a most exhilarating experience, with very important lessons for us. The program is being coordinated by the Mwangaza African Revolutionary Study Groups Center - a very modest but extremely serious effort put together by Pan Africanist Patriots and Volunteers. Mwangaza is Kiswahili for “Brightness’, “Light”, etc.
Our MWANGAZA Team was summoned back to Kampala on 22nd March 2022 from Lira - to discharge other very urgent national duties. We shall resume the launch of MWANGAZA with meetings in Kigezi (centered around Kabale University), Ankole (centered around the Mbarara University of Science and Technology) and Rwenzori (centered around the Mountains of the Moon University - immediately after the closure of the period of national mourning for Compatriot the late Rt. Hon. Jacob L’Okori Oulanyah. May Almighty God Bless Compatriot Oulanyah In His Eternal Rest.
In the meantime, let us place on record our warm appreciation to the Resident City Commissioners of Arua, Gulu and Lira - respectively Ms. Akello Alice Opio, Mr. Dennis Odongpiny and Mr. Lawrence Egole - who received us, and accompanied us to the Universities. We were also very well received by the Vice Chancellors of the Universities......
