Nearly 40 area youth will soon experience a great week of theatre, music, and especially FUN from July 6-10 with The Missoula Children's Theatre at WVC. Live performances of the musical The Frog Prince will run at 5pm and 7pm on Friday July 10 at The Brubeck Theatre at WVC. Tickets will soon be available for the performance.

June 2 Theater Tech One Day Camp....Only a Few Days Away!

Want to learn Theater Tech? Want to learn what happens behind the scenes of your favorite productions and live music shows? Come to the WVC Theater Tech Camp on June 2 from 1:30-5pm at The Brubeck. Only 14 spots now available in the 8-18 age (down from 44).
Only 9 spots available for ages 6-7 (down from 16)

The Missoula Children's Theatre returns to WVC for another adventure of fun and excitement with Missoula's theatre professionals including acting workshops, choreography, dance, singing and performing a musical, all in 5 days.

Pay registration online with credit fee at https://cur8.com/25806/project/139471 or call 618-263-5164 to arrange to pay by check, in person.

Cost: $75 ages 8-18 for 5 days and $50 for those entering 1st grade thru 7 years for 3.5 days.

IMPORTANT INFO: After purchase, please immediately email [email protected] with the following: 1. Name of Student 2. Age 3. Name of Parent 4. Phone Number 5. Current Email 6. Mailing Address and 7. List of those who are authorized to drop off and pick up the child. Purchaser will be contacted to confirm registration.

THANK YOU to all who have registered in the Early Bird period. Now we have a good idea of classes and instructors. The July 13-16 WVC Summer Music Camp registration will be open until June 18. You can also call in to 618-262-8641 and ask for the Business Office on Tuesday to pay via credit card, or in person. Don't forget to send in the registration forms.

Reminder that the Early Bird registration at the $75 price ends on Tuesday. After Tuesday we will begin building classes based on registrations. Mary is the Strings Instructor at Casey Middle School in Mt Vernon, IL, is a graduate of SIU-Carbondale School of Music, has taught at numerous camps, and is an "in demand" performer for symphonies and performances in IL, KY, MO and beyond. Rob Krumm, from Champaign-Urbana, returns after a hiatus to bring his love of everything music! Rob will be teaching Ukulele and Guitar (Beginning and Intermediate), as well as leading the Monday evening Open Oldtime Jam. WVC Music Camp Recital is at 5:30pm tonight! And we will also feature The Woolseys, award winning Bluegrass musicians from Indiana who will perform as a part of the concert. They were on hand today to play examples and talk about Bluegrass and Oldtime Music and instruments. No admission fee this evening but donations will be accepted.
