Campus Ministry International - Iowa State University Chapter

Campus Ministry International (CMI) is a ministry of New Life Church in Ames. We are an Apostolic group whose purpose is to provide a network of students on campus that love God and have a desire to learn more about His Word. What We Do Bible Study: God and His Word is the central focus of CMI. Paul instructed a young Timothy to “study to show yourself approved unto God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (II Tim 2:15) We meet every week to talk about the Bible and learn how we can apply it to our lives. Prayer: We believe that one of the most important things a college student can learn is how to pray. Jesus’ disciples asked Him, “Lord, teach us to pray.” (Luke 11.1) We have powerful prayer meetings on a weekly basis that will connect you to the Almighty God Worship: Our Sunday morning services are filled with exciting, demonstrative worship to God. “God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” (John 4.24) Join us Sunday mornings as we worship Jesus Christ in spirit and in truth. Relationship: We want to help you build and strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ. “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” (Matt 22.37) It is also our hope that as a member of CMI you will leave Iowa State University with Godly friends that will be an encouragement to you for the rest of your life. We have monthly activities that help us develop and cultivate these relationships.
