Sue hope you've marked your Calander for Wednesday evening,of the 24th, there's history bring made in Andover. 5 p.m retired Allegany Co. H historian Craig Braack will be doing a presentation on the Erie Canal, it's celebrating 200 years this year, then a brief intermission with biscuits with honey, and cookies will be served just before out live music by the Biscuit Brothers at the Main Street park also known as Eagle Park. A toe tapping banjo playing darn good time. E, Greenwood St to Church Street will be closed so we can sit or dance in the street. Parking will be available on Church Street and the Community Center, Come join the Andover Historical Society for some fur, some hootin', some hollerin',and some' music.

I'm not sure what your calendar s look like but can tell you this Yesterday I had only one day left in August that isn't committed to something. Now September is filling up. Then I ask myself where has the summer gone? That's a foolish question. If your calendar is anything like mine you'll want to know ahead of time that The Andover Historical Society has a presentation coming up on Sept. 24th 5pm. Craig Braack, our retired Allegany Co. Historian, will be doing a presentation at The museum 11 E. Greenwood St. on the Erie Canal, the Cause of it's Creation. After words we will have live entertainment at the Park right next door to the museum. Music. toe-tapping tunes. time traveling' tales and unforgettable fun performed by the Biscuit Brothers. Sure do hope you consider putting this even on your calendars. Light refreshments will be provided.
