I know this page has been a bit quiet, so I wanted to give a quick update! Michigan Magic has been going strong with a lot of new members this year. We will be performing at the TedX event on February 22, and we are also teaming up with Comco for a joint magic/comedy show on March 15. More details on that to come! In the meantime, we are still meeting every Monday night to share slights and routines and get our new members up to speed. This semester we'll have several professional magicians come teach us how to be better performers.

Michigan Magic will be at TEDxUofM 2018 Black Box: Into the Unknown this Friday at the Power Center 6-10 pm! We will be performing outside the auditorium before the show and during intermission. So come to the event early to have your mind blown by a mix of classic and original tricks!

Today, Michigan Magic performed 3 times in the Chem building and 2 times at the Union. Reactions were great, and we had a lot of fun! We're promoting the Bicentennial Fall Expo, which has events happening today and tomorrow. Come see us perform at the expo Friday just before 5:00 near the diag! Again, thank you to ArtsEngine for organizing these pop-up performances and helping host the expo! Also, shout out to Daniel Yoo for his first performance with the club - you really blew people away.

Here are more photos of pop up performances we took last Thursday, 10/19. We took advantage of the nice weather to perform 5 times throughout the afternoon: at the ugli, in Mason hall, on the diag, in Mason again, and then back at the ugli. The reactions were great so we just kept going. Shout out to ArtsEngine for giving us the opportunity to perform and for helping host the Fall Bicentennial Expo this week! We're looking forward to more magic this week!
