Congratulations to Sigma Sigma Sigma, recipients of the SERVE Helping Hands Award for April 2026! When asked about their favorite part of giving back, the chapter shared: Our favorite part about giving back through service is creating meaningful change. Serving our community allows us to come together for something bigger than ourselves and live out Sigma Sigma Sigma’s values through action. Knowing that even small efforts can make a lasting impact makes service especially meaningful to us. We are proud to recognize them for their hard work and commitment to service!

Congratulations to Taylor Hemenway, recipient of the SERVE Community Hero Award for April 2026! Taylor is a junior graduating in 2027 and the President of the SERVE Committee. She is double majoring in Psychology and Communications and has been an active part of the SERVE Committee for several years. When asked about the importance of giving back to the community, Taylor shared: “Giving back to the community helps to make a positive difference in people’s lives.” Taylor’s dedication, leadership, and passion for service truly embody the spirit of SERVE. The 2026 Virginia Volunteerism Summit is your opportunity to convene with peers from across the globe and strengthen service and volunteerism as a community! This year’s event features two virtual learning days, May 13–14, followed by an in-person professional development day on May 15 in Richmond, VA.
