Founded in 1872 by 10 women at Syracuse University, Alpha Phi has grown and expanded since then to bring women together fr

Dear PC ‘26,

Today marks just 26 days till you’ll be running home to the girls that make college feel like home! We are unbelievably excited to meet you and can’t wait for the abundance of memories we will make together. Alpha phi has given me the girls that push me towards my goals, are always there when I need a good laugh or a hug, and will be my life long friends. I encourage all of you to be yourselves and have fun through this whole experience! :)

A legacy that continues to grow🤍

Meet Peyton, PC’25, and her mom, Amy, PC’93! Hear from Peyton as she shares what her mom has meant to her Alpha Phi experience, and from Amy as she reflects on her own time in Alpha Phi and the joy of seeing her daughters become part of the sisterhood too!

Peyton- “Growing up, I heard so much about my mom’s Alpha Phi experience and saw the special bond she shared with her sorority sisters—who became lifelong best friends. During recruitment, I kept an open mind about where I truly belonged, but by Preference Round, I knew Alpha Phi was home. I feel so lucky that my mom is not only my mom, but also my sister in life and letters, along with my own sister too!“

Amy- “Alpha Phi gave me some of my favorite memories and lifelong friendships. Watching both of my daughters experience that same sisterhood—creating unforgettable moments and friendships of their own—means more than I can say. I’m so proud and thrilled to see them continue this special legacy.“
