September is Su***de Prevention Month — and Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity Region II is not going to be quiet about it. 17 veterans die by su***de every single day in America. That is one brother every 85 minutes. We say their names. We carry their memory. And we refuse to let another brother suffer in silence. This month we are making a commitment — check on your brothers. Not just the ones who look like they are struggling. Check on the strong ones. The quiet ones. The ones who always say I am fine. Because sometimes the ones who look the most together are the ones carrying the most weight. You are not alone. Your brothers are here. We love you and we need you here. Greetings, Region II family, friends, community, and brothers!

Charge it to my mind and not my heart — I completely forgot to post this on August 31st for International Overdose Awareness Day. But the message is too important not to share.

This one hits especially close to home for our veteran community. Veterans face a significantly higher risk of fatal overdose than the general population. These aren’t just statistics. These are our brothers. Our fathers. Our friends. These are the men and women who once stood beside us in formation and, in some cases, were fighting battles nobody around them could see.

Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity, Inc. — Region II pauses to remember those we have lost and recommits ourselves to being the support system our brothers need before it is too late.

Check on your brothers. Check on the strong ones. Check on the quiet ones. Check on the ones who always tell you, “I’m good.”

Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity Inc., the FIRST Greek-lettered fraternity founded exclusively by U.S. Armed Forces men, is actively recruiting veterans, active duty service members, and community leaders across the state of Georgia for our upcoming crossing in Jacksonville, Florida, November 5–8, 2026.

If you have served this nation, we were built for YOU.

Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity Inc., the FIRST Greek-lettered fraternity founded exclusively by U.S. Armed Forces men — is actively recruiting veterans, active duty service members, and community leaders across the state of Florida for our upcoming crossing in Jacksonville, Florida — November 5–8, 2026.

🖤 We cannot start this morning without showing Alpha Pi Chapter some well-deserved love and respect for winning Chapter of the Year! This is an outstanding accomplishment and a true reflection of your hard work, leadership, and dedication. Continue doing what you do!

Headed back to Region II after an unforgettable 2026 Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity, Inc. National Convention in St. Louis!

This weekend was filled with brotherhood, fellowship, networking, celebration, and opportunities to help shape the future of our great fraternity. We arrived representing Alabama, Georgia, and Florida, and we are returning home even stronger, more motivated, and ready to continue putting our deeds into action.

Thank you to every brother who traveled, participated, supported the events, handled fraternity business, and proudly represented Region II. As we leave St. Louis behind, we carry the memories, lessons, renewed connections, and energy of the National Convention back to our chapters and communities.

Safe travels to every brother returning home. May God watch over those traveling by air and guide those traveling by road until everyone reaches their destination safely.
