Today we celebrate and honor the efforts and triumphs of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His dedication to fighting for racial and justice serves as encouragement and inspiration. He reminds us that progress isn’t always easy, but always worth it. We, as social advocates, will continue to fight for racial equality, justice, inclusivity, and reconciliation.

“We must walk on in the days ahead with an audacious faith in the future” - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Though December was a shorter academic month, we still accomplished so much! Our second-year students presented their semester long project of conducting a needs assessment for mental health services in their chosen population. We learned so much about real barriers to accessing mental health and how to best support and serve those in need in our community!

Our students are looking forward to the upcoming spring semester and the opportunity to engage in new classes! Be sure to follow along to witness all their hard work!
