Terri founded Apogee College Prep in 2014 following 20 years of teaching English and mentoring educators. She says, "I am passionate about equitable higher educational opportunities for all students, despite the resources or learning differences they possess.

Who We Serve
•We work with students applying for undergraduate, graduate, and specialized degrees such as DO, MD, JD, and DPT programs.
•We serve students virtually and around the world, primarily in the US.
•We employ and collaborate with a team of college admission coaches, English teachers, and professional writers who work 1:1 with students on the steps relating to higher ed admission.
•Each coach works with between 10-20 students during an application season, and we only take the number of applicants to whom we can provide premier assistance.

What We Do
•Sessions are typically one hour and take place via Zoom.
•Guide students in determining and clarifying their educational path and potential major.
•Teach students how to research and navigate colleges, departments, special programs, institutes, fellowships, and more.
•Share college admission resources with parents and students
•Oversee and refine the creation of a balanced college list.
•Educate parents about the application process, college fees, managing family relationship during a potentially stressful time.
•Assist student in creating a cohesive, application - marketing themself in a consistent and thorough manner.
•Work with students on the essay writing process from brainstorming, to drafting, to producing a polished final piece representing the student as a unique applicant.
•Coach students on step by step application completion.
•Proofread applications.
•Advise families about Financial Aid and Merit Aid, college costs, private scholarships.
•Assist with school choice once acceptances are received
