The Smith Family is mourning the death of their son who was senselessly killed at a local gathering in Tuskegee, Alabama. died Friday, September 27, 2013, after a shooting at a party in Tuskegee, Alabama. B.J., 21, was a senior finance major at Tuskegee University, where he played on the tennis team. He was a 2010 graduate of South Cobb High School, was remembered for his “infectious smile, a bi

gger than life personality, unlimited jokes and honestly a gift of mischievous adventure,” Ashley Hosey, the school’s principal, wrote in an online tribute. No arrests have been made in connection with his death. Police are asking anyone with information in his death to contact the Tuskegee police department at 334-727-0200.

Today, Bobby “BJ” Smith is featured on Instagram, Students, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America!

While discussing this topic on Mother’s Day can be challenging for some, I truly feel blessed and grateful for my living children, both mothers. Each child is one-of-a-kind, and their presence in my life is irreplaceable, as was Bobby’s💔💔

I support the Second Amendment and believe in the right to defend myself and my loved ones. However, I also think it’s critical to advocate for reasonable gun laws that prioritize the safety of all innocent people, especially our children!
Balancing individual rights with community safety is important for a compassionate society.

If my voice can save even one life, speaking out for that cause is crucial. Compassion and action can go hand in hand, and I’m committed to being part of the solution.
