Auburn's beloved mascot, Aubie, was recently caught on camera removing the crystal football from atop the National Football Championship Trophy at a public display. In an official statement, Auburn University "assures the Auburn Family that due to his history of outstanding service, we will give Aubie every chance to return the crystal football. One insider speculated that "although Aubie does hav

e rather a strong appetite for crystal," he is most likely attempting to share the "All In" winning attitude on and off the field with staff, faculty, students, alumni and others. During questioning, Aubie had no comment. The National Championship Trophy and the image of the Crystal Football are trademarks of the American Football Coaches Association. The AFCA is the copyright owner of the National Championship Trophy.
