Here are ways to get involved from Sunday's speakers!

Junior Achievement of Central Texas
Director of Entrepreneurship Programs

- Think back to non-profit organizations you've worked with in the past, have any of them left you wanting to do more? If not, keep searching!

- Make philanthropy and helping others a part of your routine. It may be as simple as going out of your way to help someone in a small way everyday, or trying a new non-profit volunteer activity every month.

- Over the next six months, commit to choosing two to three non-profits you'd like to learn more about, and make time to attend their information or training sessions before signing up to volunteer.

Here are some steps you can take to learn more about JACT and how to get involved:

- Find out more about Junior Achievement of Central Texas at www.jacentex.org and on our blog.

- Get to know JACT by joining us at one of our monthly volunteer trainings. JACT has volunteer opportunities starting soon - everything from one hour discussions about entrepreneurship to acting as a business advisor role for one of our JA Company Program businesses.

- Still have questions? Or want to discuss the variety of ways to get involved in JACT one-on-one or in a group, email me at [email protected].

- Take a note card and write down all of your expenses for a weeks as a way of becoming more financially aware of your spending. It's a tool used for small business owners and can help anyone looking to be more fiscally responsible.
