Sampling in Jordan River, Cable’s Creek and Iron Ore Creek, Delta College students and faculty lived and worked at the station this summer as part of Delta’s Bio 119 and Bio 219 Stream Ecology courses. Over six days, students collected samples and analyzed these in the laboratory classroom, returning to their main campus then to complete the work. Pic: Jacob VanHouten

A bonus for the meteorology students visiting the station earlier in August - Dark Sky Sanctuary designation means fantastic views of the Milky Way and Perseid meteor shower. When did they get any sleep!? Pic: Maya Merren

Thanks to our staff for a wonderful season! Most of them return to the mainland today. Pic: Britney Searfoss
